Hello everyone! I'm here to welcome you to one of my very favorite places on Menewsha! This is the Old Market Square, isn't it great? This was originally where Menewsha's farmers used to come to sell their livestock and produce, these days it's a fantastic place for shopping, hanging out and people watching!

On all four sides of the square there's lots of the best kinds of shops selling all kinds of cool stuff, and there's cafes and bistros selling all sorts of yummy foods, with places to sit outside. The square itself is cobbled with a pretty fountain in the center. I like sitting on the edge of the fountain and trailing my hand in the water, there's fishies in there and they come and kiss my fingers :3

There's trees with comfy benches under them so there's lots of places to sit, and there's always different people selling from pretty stalls and carts. People who can't afford to open a shop like to use this square to sell their homemade things and flowers from their garden, so on any day you can find anything! Baked things and preserves, quilts and cushions, jewelry, toys, soaps, paintings...anything! There's often fun street performers too :D People with puppets, mime artists and dancers, sometimes there's acrobats and fire eaters! O: I love this place so much!

So I'm really excited that this area is being used for this event! To make it nice to be outside at this shivery time of the year the whole square has been put inside an enormous tent! *giggles* Isn't it awesome? It's really fun to be outside and inside at the same time >.< There's braziers dotted about that make it nice and warm in here, and people are barbequing on them too, yum!

Dude. At first I read that as "brassieres". I was like, "People are barbecuing on bras? What?"
