• When will the event end?
  
  The event will last about a week. We're shooting to end the event on November the 8th, at approximately 6pm Pacific (8pm Central) - about the same time as we do every event.

• How do I participate in the event?
  
  The staff have prepared many wonderful contests and games for you, which can be found stickied at the top of the Event Forum.

• How do I earn event currency?
  
  You can earn event currency by trick-or-treating NPCs once every 15 minutes. Depending on how impressed we are with your costume, you can gain 1 or 2 pieces of candy per attempt. But if you catch us at a bad time, you won't get any at all!
  
  You'll also gain candy for each post that you make in the forums.

• But I still don't understand -- how do I trick-or-treat??
  
  In the lower left corner of the screen, you should see an image of some candies. Mouse over that and it will change to a clickable button that will take you right to one of our front doors! Here's what it looks like:

• Are there event rares? How do I earn them?
  
  Yes! You'll be able to find them in the Special Event Store as they are released. They'll be on the back page. All EIs have been released - you'll find previews in the following post.
  
  You can either buy them with gold, or with your event currency, the choice will be yours. However, you won't be able to use gold and event currency to partly pay for the same item.
  
  Please note: After the event, the rares will be removed from the shops and discontinued.

• How much will a complete Event Items (rares) set cost?
  
  100 candies total.
  (Unless the AAs judge the candy earning is off. We'll edit this if we have to adjust for earning rates during the event.)

• I don't have enough time to participate so I can't get the EIs that I want! - that's not fair!
  
  We're sorry you feel that way! We did our best to figure out a way to distribute the rare items fairly, and this was the best option available.

• Are there event commons?
  
  Yes! Just head down to the Special Event Store.
  
  Please note: Event commons will be available after the event ends. However, they will be moved out into the main stores and will retail for double their event price.

Haha, so true. I was thrilled to see all the glasses in the shop! :lol:

I'm glad I'm not the only one a bit confused by the trick or treating... Last year it was on the NPCs profiles but Jeryck doesn't even have visitor's messages enabled...

The currency is working, we are in the process of fixing the counter so it will appear at the top of your page. For now know that you are receiving currency for your posts :)

Are the Yan's in the yan area the same as one given out previously?

Yes - the Baby Yans are the ones that were given out previously. :)

Trick-or-Treating will be fixed the same time the currency showing at the top of the screen is fixed. Inso did what he could do, now we're waiting for Yan to wake up again. :)

It's like a comedy of errors. xD We think because one thing doesn't happen, that it's something Inso needs to fix. Then Inso does what we need and we realize it's something only Yan can fix - and he'd gone to bed! If something happens when Yan wakes up and we need Inso to fix it and Inso's in bed, I swear I will rain down fire. xD
