Hi! So I started an Art shop and I wanted to know if what I was charging is reasonable. :B Here's some of my art:

The phoenix and chibis are my more recent. I've been working mostly on the computer because I don't has a scanner, but I included one hand drawn picture I did a while ago to give you an example of my skill. lol

Thanks for visiting my price thread ^_^ Hmm, since I don't exactly know how the gold system works here I don't know if my opinion my be under or over priced (I'm so used to Gaia's gold system). I love your colored chibi's though, I think they can get at least 100g each. The animals definitely costs a lot more. Maybe 300g - 500g.

I think you should try to place more human/anime character examples instead of your animals though. I don't doubt your ability at all, but I think more users would order more characters than animals.

Its my most recent. <3 I charged 300 for one and 150 for the other original character, but I think I should charge more like 500-1000 g for one fully colored original character and 2/3 of that price for a second one if they want a couple picture.

Edit: So, I redid my prices. How does this look?

Extra People/Avatar/Animal(on computer): double of the original prices for non chibi & non bust

Those prices look pretty good, but why make the OC color more expensive than the Avatar Color?

Because ocs are more complicated because there generally are no direct references to work off of. Gotta be more creative with them. I may raise the avi price though too. I've seen others with drawn art and not cg they are pricing 800-1000 for full bodies. I may just do the same. cging is a time consuming. :X

Well if they don't have references for the OCs then I'm sure you would have a hard time doing it. If they did though I'm sure its the same equivalence of an Avatar Color. And I agree CGing does take a long time. Why not just make your fullbodies 500-600g each then?

Hmm....I guess. Would it be bad if I priced them at 650 for oc and 600 for avi?

Oh gosh what a pretty drawing of that Quetzalcoatl~. I started off drawing animals so I always have a huge soft spot for animal art *v*

i think you should price both OCs and Avi's the same and just specify in your rules that you either want an image reference or a very well written description when it comes to OCs
and i think that 600-650g is a reasonable price for something like "back in the good old days" more if you include backgrounds
