I often will only take one large commission or maybe two at a time and I'm kind of lazy about them. orz I feel bad about it, but I guess it paces me so I get enough time for personal work. I'm finishing a commission right now though. 8D You should do color more often. <3

Also, how do we keep doing this? We keep having opposite avatars. xD Here you're white/purple and I'm black/yellow and on gaia I'm white and you're black.

i know how it is, it feels overworked when too much cg commission are requested,
makes me wonder how those irl artists on da handle all those copic/cg with back-

lol maybe its because we dress our avatars in the colors of characters? like mine, on
gaia the character i used is puppet, and he most of the time wears black. while on
here, my character is M and he uses mostly light colored clothes and purple xDDD but
now you mention, that is quite funny~~~ its our destiny to be on the opposite side
of the magnet! >8D *get shot so hard* xDDD

Well if you're getting paid with real money, it's a considerably better incentive to get work done. xD;; But I think it's also a matter of practice and patience. If you do it a lot, cging takes a lot less time. I know that I'm much faster at doing lineart than I used to be. You have your own unique style though, so you don't necessarily need to imitate the super detailed cg painter types. You can get away with overlaying flats on pencil sketches and still having it look nice.

Haha my avatars are almost never a character of mine. I just dress however I feel like when I'm dressing my avatar. I think we just like black and white and happen to have done the opposite thing on each site for some reason. Ahh yeah I totally understand. I've built up my tolerance for sitting around and cging for long periods of time. P: I still think of myself as fairly impatient though.
I tend to choose an overall color scheme and then just put things on or off and decide what looks good. But I also pay attention to the items themselves because items can look weird together even if they are the same color.

i can tell you have experience with cg coloring~ p: but its hard for me to put off a picture and come back later...D:
have 2 pictures atm that i was going outline them digitally, and its been 2 years still havent finish them OTL

Well I've been trying to develop my style(s) *shrug* but I'm be no means an expert. I have found it necessary to work a lit bit on something over the course of several days because of school. orz So I guess I'm used to that.

@ Elegant Feather Duster: no rush, it takes to develop one's style, for some people
it can take them decades and still they wont be able to find a style that 100% suits
their liking and comfort...D: there is also a huge chance that even after you draw for
years after years, your style changes little by little and sometimes you wont even
realize until maybe a year or two later~ xD

@ Puppy - xD Well, it'd be cool if we didn't fall that far. I mean, we could always stand up again, but it might take a while if we break our legs in half or something...

@puppet - This is quite true. I've been working at it for a long while. D: I envy people who have very unique styles that are all their own.
I feel that I do sort of have a style but there's nothing about it that is extraordinarily eyecatching and that is probably what bothers me in the long run.

OTL since there are so much styles on there, and pick just 1 or 2 that is comfortable
for you and for other people to like is quite hard...D: at least in my opinion~ p: make
