It's only recently that Menewsha made many more layers for the avatars so we could equip more things on them. =)

Hmm.... In my personal opinion, I think there's a huge difference between having lots of items equipped together that goes well and those that do not. Menewsha items were made to match certain sets of items as much as they could for standardization, so it matches better than the Gaia ones, where the pixel and colour styles are sometimes very different from one item to another.
(Try poking around the Avatar Chat forums to check out some of those avatars. =D)

Don't be afraid to post just because you naked. People won't judge you for that here. In fact, there are some 'oldbies' who run around naked for fun sometimes too. ^^

To change thread title, when you edit the post, click on 'Go Advanced' for more options. You can change the thread title there. =)

Now that I think baout it, your avie looks nice even though it has lots of things and doesn't look as cluttered as gaia avatars.

Yes, I do mean the items. ^^

There is the Menewsha Avatar Creator (MAC) for you to toss up an avatar of your own first to see what you'd like. It is a lot of help and fun to see what combinations will work.
Though, the newer items (new store commons and such) including the just over Phoenix Jubilee event items are not in the MAC yet. The items available will still be more than enough to play around with, no matter. =D
