I totally bought a 3DS for the purpose of playing Dream Drop Distance. orz [obsessed]

I guess? I didn't know mmorpgs were unpopular. They seem to have a lot of people playing them.
At first, I wasn't really caring about equips. I got things up to +6 and didn't bother past that. But now I have a guild, and we've been sitting at the level cap for around 6 months, so there's not much to do (although I am leveling up my fourth character to level cap, though I'm not sure I'll make it by the end of the month), so it's, like, why not try to get good gear? I really wanted the Sea Dragon gear (they just released the Nest) because it's actually pretty on the sorceress. But the Sea Dragon Nest is just too insane to even attempt. So I'm just trying for what I might actually try to get and since it'll probably be awhile before the cap is increased, I do have plenty of time to try and get the gear. It's just... time consuming and frustrating. Plus, you only have a limited number of times you can clear a Nest each week, and you have to get passes to actually enter the Nest. @__@

I really don't understand why they have to make it so complicated to get good gear. What's wrong with letting people have an easy time of getting gear and enhancing it to a decent + level and getting it sparked with the hidden options that they want? So what if people aren't making tons of gold selling mats and the like on the market place? Having tons of gold is unnecessary if you can actually craft/enhance/spark equips to what you want. >__>;;;;;;; [probably isn't making sense]

Haha, well, it's more like take the general idea of the Fairy Tale and then just do really crazy stuff with it. If I did it like the original Fairy Tale, there's not much point. XD;;;; The 100 themes was something a friend posted on tumblr. And I thought, well, I hadn't done one of those in ages, might as well give it a go. XD;; There's no prizes. It's not really a contest. I've only done about 4 of the themes so far using Dante.

But the guy is going to be a waterbender. Except, when I picture him, he has light skin, and I keep wanting him to have bluish hair. Or like black hair that fades into icy blue. And then my earthbender gal has more of water tribe look with the darker skin and darkish brown hair. orz ;;;;;;

I've re-drawn his hands because I didn't like how they mushed together from before. I was trying to go "soft" by just drawing him with the brush tool but he really needs the pencil tool. XD I re-positioned his left leg. And I'm going to redo the feet soon too.

Well, they're not unpopular on a massive level. That Sea Dragon stuff sounds really awesome. Is there a image to preview it? Ah, well... if I was going to waste time on something, I'd rather it be a solo RP game. That's why I only ever got into Final Fantasy. And while my brother was in Japan, I got to finally re-play The Witcher PC game all over again and defeat it. 8) Now I really want to play the second one!

...Geez. They really did make that difficult for you to get. I think it's their way to keep players playing and keep their stuff active. Adding in more content for you to do, to get to one thing is a trend in every game. I find it quite annoying on a ULTRA level... Do they offer you to donate money or whatever to their website? Because that's also another reason why they make it hard. They want to make profit and they don't make the game completely "free" there's always a catch. xD;;

I never heard of those websites, besides Livejournal. I think LJ was just a place for people do to emo-postings. I had one but I didn't really like the whole "online diary" thing, it's ridiculous. Tumblr should turn out fine, that's where artists and other people seem to frequent. Lately, I've watched a lot of people go nuts for Instagram, though.

I never knew that. This is what the Sea Dragon gear looks like. And this is what my current gear looks like. I don't really like the way the gear I have looks. orz ;;; Haha, that's true. I like being about to do things one my own. It's possible to play the game solo. You just would have a pretty hard time getting sort things unless you get the rare gear enhanced enough to allow you to solo Nests.

[laughs] Yeah, I guess they do like making it hard to keep people playing. But at the same time, it drives people away. Since we hadn't had an update for about six months, people were posting on the forum saying they were going to leave if we didn't get 50lvl cap or Sea Dragon Nest or about how most of the player base left (and went to play the Chinese version). Yeah, all free-to-play mmorpgs have a Cash shop to make money to keep the game running. Which sucks in that those players with money have an advantage because fashion and stuff gives them stat boosts or they can buy stuff that trade-able and sell it for lots on the market place. But if you ignore all that, you can play without paying them anything.

I don't know anything about Devil May Cry. XD;;;; I was talking about my OC Dante.

Yeah, too bad there aren't different color options for armor. My current armor just doesn't thrill me. XD It's so... eh. But I don't think the Manticore set is going to look any better. orz ;;; I think the Manticore set is going to look like the epic armor you can buy from one of the NPCs, except the helmet looks different.

Well, my Engineer could almost solo the Manticore nest. If I used up some of my resurrection scrolls. You get 5 daily resurrections, and then leveling up, and sometimes through events, you get resurrection scrolls that allow for more resurrections. But after the Manticore boss killed me 5 times, I decided to just call it quits. I got it down to the last bar of its life though.

And of course event drops are crazy low. I mean, they have a bunch of potions and such that you can get from the event boxes, but I don't even use them. I don't even use health/mp potions since they heal so little. But right now, they have bunny ears and tail in the event boxes. And I so want to get them! But it's such a rare chance, and random generators hate me so much. (And I also think the ears should count as a separate costume piece instead of a head piece so that I can where the bunny ears and the glasses I already have on my sorceress.)

I do believe I have. But the rock has a nice layer of moss that's soft and warm.

And even if you "run" it isn't really running... more like walking and the distances between towns/villages are ridiculous.

Hm... I think that they just need a better graphics designer for that website/game. Until then, I think most of the outfits that are being offered are going to suffer. I think your current outfit isn't all that bad, it just needs some umph. xD

So... 1 resurrection scroll is like using up 1 energy doing a quest? Isn't there any way to gain more resurrection scrolls to do quests? Or do you have to pay more for them? And speaking of the nests... I don't think I fully understand what those are about. Are the nests, nests of monsters? Like different areas with different types of creatures you have to defeat that also has a boss that you need to kill?

Hahahaha! I feel the same with potions like that. I don't see the point in offering such a pathetic HP/MP/AP recovery items. Then I get mad at how PRICEY they make the better potions be. :/ Yeah. Event boxes only generate what they want... it sounds like Gaiaonline's present boxes and that crab-claw game, you don't win anything really worth squat. I only won a fox tail once and that was about it.

Well, the American company don't do anything in regard to the graphics designs. We just get what the Korean/Chinese versions came out with. I don't like that little gap of skin between the leg armor and body armor on the gear I have. It looks weird to me. =| Like, I don't get why it shows off the hip.

Ah, no. The resurrection scrolls are for if you die in a dungeon. You get five revivals daily. Of course, if you use them all up, that doesn't stop you from running more dungeons. It just means that if you die in a dungeon, you won't be able to revive and complete it. You would have to start over. A Nest is pretty much a dungeon but a lot harder than the normal dungeons that you run quests in. They're kind of an optional thing because you don't actually have to run them as part of the game's plot. Nests also drop epic equips, mats for crafting that Nest's epic set, and epic accessories. Sometimes, if you're lucky, you can get epic enhancement plates too. But I'm always really unlucky and forever get the stupid stunning plate that no one wants.

Right? What's the point of buying potions when they're so expensive and recover so little? Plus the cool down on them is always annoying. Like, if they're going to recover so little that you need spam them like crazy to keep from dying, why do they have to have a cool down? >__> They just causes me to die so many times. Anyway, in most dungeons, killing monsters usually yield some recovery items which heal far more than than potions. And you can't use HP potions in Nests, making them even more useless.

Gaia doesn't really have anything worth caring about to make it worth opening their stupid little gift boxes. >__> I just trash them whenever I get one.

I don't know about earth dweller. They live in a regular town. She just has the ability to "bend" the earth.

I play Dragon Nest for most of my day? I don't think people want to hear about that. Besides, nothing eventful has really happened for me in the game lately. Except crafting my first Manticore armor piece. Just six more pieces to go. orz

Well, the merman wasn't originally going to be part of it, but I didn't have a place for him, really, in any stories. He was just an idea that was toying around in the back of my head.

I was chatting with friends when LoK first start airing, and I was saying I wanted to create some fan characters in the series. XD;;; But I never could choose what element to make my OC be. I ended up making up a pair of a fire bending brothers, the earth bender girl, and dragged the merman over to become a water bender. But they aren't set in the actual Avatar world. [still doesn't have a plot set in concrete for them yet] Still working on writing up another piece for them though. XD;;;
