How are you liking FF8? *3*
It was the hardest one for me to beat. I loved the characters and the story, but leveling up was a real pain for me, particularly near the end.
Haha, I never got very far in Final Fantasy 7, either. xD
Crisis Core is a prequel to FF7, so I don't think it would be necessary for you to have played FF7, although a little familiarity with the characters might make playing it more enjoyable~
And while Dirge of Cerberus follows FF7, it focuses on one of the old characters only, so you don't need to know the entire storyline or anything. According to summaries and screenshots I've seen, Dirge has a bunch of flashbacks to events from and preceding FF7.
The game is really hard for me, though, since I'm terrible at shooters. xP

Aww, I'm sorry to hear about your cold! ;3;
*hugs Trel* <333
But like you said, there'll be other cons, and you'll have more fun if you go when you're not feeling sick. >w<
Haha, I love turn-based games, like FFX. I can eat while fighting. 8D
I'm decent at fighters, too. But I'm terrible at all realtime games aside from KH. The other day, I tried resuming my game on Zelda: Majora's Mask, and my HP went down faster than I thought possible.
I'm off to reply to the RP!
