I don't mind family. It's the drama that I wish would disappear. :(

heck, it doesn't even matter how far out of the drama I stay, the family always wants to call me and complain about it and try to get me to be on their side when in reality, both sides are being dumb.

I love my family, can do without the drama.

It wasn't too bad though. It only reared it's ugly head today. Thanksgiving went off without a problem, thank god.

my brother called me earlier today telling me that after the 3 year feud between him and my Dad that supposedly ended in August when they went camping together told me Dad hadn't returned any of his calls or spoken to him since the camping trip when my dad asked my brother what he thought of my cousin, who my dad was raised with and my brother told him that our cousin seemed to be the same old guy he's always been. so my brother had tried to call Dad for Thanksgiving but Dad never answered or called him back so now my brother is cutting Dad out of his and his family's lives again. *large sigh*

That... doesn't sound like fun at all :gonk: I hope things can work out.

Nah. Already did. Plus the main source of it all has gone to bed for the night. Just have to concentrate on finishing everything else that needs to be done.

sorry I disappeared like that on you. it suddenly became obvious it was time to take the child upstairs. I thought he would go up on his own no problem, but after having a toy chucked at the back of my head, I saw it was gonna be a might tougher than anticipated.

Family drama? LoL, I flew over 24 hours away by plane to get away from it, and it still finds a way to haunt me. I know exactly how it is. =_="

ugh. I was just at my neighbor's house and my son started pulling his usual crap. my son has ADHD and Asperger's so I have to parent him differently. I just looked at the ceiling and counted to 10 and my friend said, "I have no idea how you do it. I really don't. I'd of beat his ass by now." *sighs* it amazes me when I see other kids his age. they all seem so much older than him. that in itself often causes family drama. my dad just can't take it, so we can't visit them often or for long.
