Well, lately my dad has been having some troubles with memory, walking and driving. He did drugs and alcohol for a really long time and a few years ago he decided to go to AA meetings. They helped but like others in AA, he slipped up sometimes. Of course, my sister and I got mad at him but he didn't do too much and he always got back on track. A few weeks ago, he had to be put in the hospital cause he was taking too much of his medicine and the kind of medicine he takes can really eff you up. ...

So I scar... but I don't bruise? lmao

I got hit by a tennis ball today during tennis practice. xD
And the tennis ball raced at my eye.
And then it bounced back onto the court.
And it didn't really hurt.

I mean, it did...
But it sort of went away.

And there's no bruise or anything...

It reminds me of that time waaaaay back in sixth grade when we were playing soccer and I was about to kick the ball the same time

I recently came across a discussion about a New York Times article. In the article was the shaming of transfolk who don't "out" themselves.

The way I see it, it's not lying. It's omission. That said, if people are so goddamned worried they might be dating a trans man or woman, they need to just exit the dating game calmly and reevaluate themselves.

I do believe that rape needs to stop being a consequence of being a living, breathing human being. It needs to stop being a fact of life--worldwide.

Of course, I find that people can be raped in bathrooms is one more thing that adds to my growing paranoia.
