Hello everyone. :3 I must say, I practically spazzed when I read the title. That was our play last fall, and we had so much fun (maybe a little too much fun ^_^; ) performing it.

No, you really can't. And cucumber sandwiches. :3 When we did it, two of my good friends did Algy and Jack; "Algy" was hysterical (and a bit annoying with "Cecily", with me being Aunt Augusta =_=; ) and "Jack" wore contacts to make his eyes blue. We were all "Whoa. They're.....blue." xD It was greatness.

I think I may have heard of "Ramshackle Inn" before. It sounds kinda familiar...What's it about?

My day was nice, I didn't have any tests, and it went by at a nice pace, except my entire lunch table refused to come to lunch/ wasn't there. : /

It was okay. My English teacher snipped at me for not having my two papers ready two seconds after he asked for them. But he apologized, saying he was stressed from having to write all the different exams/grade all the different classes he teaches' work. I still don't quite like him on the account that he doesn't show us (especially the Korean/ESL students) much respect, but I forgave him.

Other than that it was splendid. I tried meditating, which progressed into a much-needed nap. <3

It's nice that your schools have a greater focus on drama. My school has drama classes and a drama club but the productions they put on don't really gain much attention from students D:

@Lilian: Aw wow. It's good that he apologized and explained his behavior though. I feel extremely lucky that all the teachers I have this semester are nice ones. I usually have one teacher that I am not fond of per semester.

Yea, English teachers always seem to have an undue amount of work. : /

And that's awesome that you got a nap. I took one yesterday, but I didn't want to get up from it.

Min~ They're not caring about drama this time around. It looks like the spring play is going to be put on in our tiny little school basement 'theater'.

Marking so many essays and stories must be tiring and difficult! Especially since you want to be objective as a teacher.

Aw what is the reason for holding it down there? Will the attendance be low due to that then?
I don't even know what my school's basement looks like, I doubt that it has usable rooms for students in it. The drama productions in my school take place on the stage, which is normal.

Yea, but the question is how many teachers are objective. xP Some teachers seem to just give good grades to their favorites.

They can't afford to rent a stage this time. We have one in our gym, but apparently it's crappy and the curtains are certainly disgusting and stained.
We have like, 2 classrooms and our broadcasting room in the basement.
The issue with the little theater, is the 'stage' is only like, half a foot up, and the seating will just be chairs on a flat floor. Plus, much less space, so there will be a lower attendance, for sure.

@M i n u x e: The thing is, though, he does this kind of thing all the time. It's almost like he doesn't even realize that someone could be seriously offended by what he says. :/

@Ithir: Aw, sucks that it probably won't have a high attendance. My school's production probably won't either, but not b/c of space: it's the super-squeaky edition of Grease. I mean, the "T-Birds" are the "Burger House Boys". Seriously, wtf?!

I never thought Grease was particularly inappropriate in the first place...

What did they think T-Birds is? O_O is that an innuendo or something? XD

I don't know why they changed that, but anything having to do with Rizzo's pregnancy is cut, as well as (so my director believes) her song "There Are Worse Things I Could Do". It's kinda stupid. :/

@Esme: I'm not sure why they made some of those changes. But, that's what I get for going to a Christian school with a "strong moral code".

@Ithir: It is annoying. But at least I'm doing it with my friends, so it's all good! :D The backstage fun will be worth it. x3
