No one I know around here has had the swine flu at all. My boyfriend and I are pretty healthy. I know there are people here with a cold because of the fluctuations in the temperature lately. Varient weather sucks.

Retail therapy is definitely good, but not if you're going to spread a nasty little virus thing around.

Perhaps you can set up little "stores" in your house and pretend to go shopping. Might help with the cravings.

thanks but its just not the same i mean i love fighting for things (people were i live are nuts and will beat a nun for a pair of gloves) its just not the same when i cant run up to something and have a tug of war for the same scarf but hey with the piggy flu i could have a upperhand just cough and run ^_-

There might be a few "invisible" staffmembers online too, but most staffmembers I know are usually visible in the online list.
I assume we'll either start this weekend or Monday. In either case, I was most likely right when I assumed 24th-25th-26th as possible start-dates. I really doubt they'll start later than that. xD

And yeah, when there are so many people on, it would be a bit difficult. I have once been a moderator at two Dutch forums and a small English forum which doesn't exist anymore and never was really popular. xD The Dutch forums were quite active, though - but at least they weren't avatar forums, so no constant dealing with cheating attempts to get gold/whatever currency.

But luckily Menewsha has a nice community, so if something is wrong, it is usually reported - it rarely is needed to actively search through the threads, I assume. xD

Sir of the Spoons: Depends on what problems the forum has. One of the forums I modded at was constantly targetted by a couple of porn bots. And they hid themselves under normal usernames and made topics with normal topic-names.
So you had to scroll through, if you'd put it in word, about 5 pages of the most disgusting porn ever before you could delete it - because handily enough, the delete/lock buttons were at the lower part of the page. -sigh-

I've also had a couple of flame wars on my hands. Not fun dealing with that if people keep making new accounts and only the admins and assistant admins can IP-ban people. We could only ban the accounts, not the IPs. Crappy software. -sigh-

Ech. Porn bots are horrible. Flink had to deal with them at a Harry Potter RP forum she modded at. -shudder- Especially whens he was the only mod on at night and had the fun of watching the "Newest Member" thing like a hawk to see if it was the same person making another account. XD

Sil: True. Flink's fluctuating work schedule makes it hard to know if she's online at thesame time as her friends. BUT Flink now has profile comments on~
