Other than that small tidbit, my other helpful tip is roleplaying, if such is your thing. I have been known to make around 2,000 gold a day, just by posting in role playing games.

While gold earning is slow-going at first, things will pick up. And, unlike forums like Gaia, you don't need to be rolling in gold in order to do well, as Mene has the marketplace more under control.
