He did answer some questions though. So I'll do well this time since I am studying.

Candy wise I am. Just put the candy in to baggies right now. The two big bags of chocolate kind of jipped me off. Meaning it didn't have the same amount of each candy but mostly milk chocolate. Dx! Oh well at least the kiddies will get candy.

I no longer give out candy.
It is too expensive, and I tended to get too many teenagers who never even bothered to dress up for Halloween.

Yeah. We only got one teenager in a wolf mask last year, he was just a neighbor's cousin. lol The rest were little kids and my great aunt told me the oldest was like nine or ten years old. We still give out candy though.

If it were just the little children, I would still do candy.

I think that most of the churches here do a party where they give out candy so that the little ones would not have to go door to door.

Yeah, it isn't as safe as it use to be. I use to trick or treat in a suburban area near my home town where there were nothing but upper-middle class to 'rich' people living in a gated community. My brother and I use to get a lot of candy. We walked the whole gated community and when we got to the end, a lady gave us goodie bags.

I don't know if it is even safe to go there anymore. My church gave out some candy buckets last year, don't know about this year though. They don't really like Halloween anyways.

I know that some churches disapprove.

But I think most of them view it as a harmless "holiday".

Yeah, it is somewhat of a 'harmless' holiday. I mean it's just another day for kids to get candy but from strangers. The only day where they break the stranger's rule. So yeah... As long as the kid doesn't dress up in something creepy, it is all right. The creepist thing I dressed up as was Death and the wassup guy from Scary Movie. XD!

When I was young, we did not really dress up much for Halloween.
We possibly put some clown makeup on or something like that.

We never had the elaborate costumes that they have now for children.

Yeah, even during the 1990s costumes weren't as high-tech and detailed. Now it's all glamorized. Little girls are wearing costumes that teens can wear. :S Also I would get a Gumby costume this year and make it into a female Gumby, but I lack the funds.

A gumby costume?

That reminds me. We watch Coast Guard Alaska, and the fishermen on the Bering Sea all have cold water survival suits. They are bright orange.

They call them Gumby suits. The feet and hands are all a part of the suit.
When they wear them, they look like giant orange gumbys.
