Did you know Japan has an underground automated bicycle parking system? It looks awesome you insert your bike it spits out a ticket you put your ticket back in and it brings your bike to you.

I've heard of those. They look amazing and so much safer.

Did you know that octopuses can squeeze through anything larger than their beak, which is the only "bone"
in their body?

Check out this awesome video.

OMG! I watched an octopus trying to escape from the early morning fish market in Japan. He almost made it right back to the sea but he was captured at the very last second. Poor guy.

Probably something that has been making me chuckle for a while is that J. M. Barrie (the creator of Peter Pan) formed an amateur cricket team called the Allahakbarries. The team included many other famous authors such as Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes), Rudyard Kipling (Jungle Book), and H. G. Wells (The War of the Worlds)... among many others.

And they were terrible.

Too bad they just didn't write a novel or screenplay about it

Right? I feel like this is one of those little history facts that could totally be made into a solid comedy film. It'd have kind of a downer ending though, seeing as the team was brought to an end by WWI.

Haha. If I recall correctly it's from the roots, which you have to prepare on a fire to blacken and then grind them. But I wonder if it has the drug you desire in it.

There's a lot we all don't know, which is why we must always strive to learn.

I found this really interesting I thought Ava might want to know this
California has the largest poverty level in America. And also the housing cost takes up half of your income.
I was just stunned by those two facts Ava The Vampire:

Thanks, hummy! :D
That's actually not surprising to me, but we've been to LA quite a few times and have looked at different housing options and yeah, they are pretty expensive!

Yeah, it's pretty sad.
I mean, not everywhere is like that, but all of the decent areas are. :c

It's about a third or a fourth of your income here if you can afford the massive loan to live in the ghetto

Today I learned that Marie Curie was buried in a coffin lined with 1 inch of lead because her body was so radioactive.
Her notebooks are also stored in lead lined boxes.
In order to handle the notebooks you have to sign a waver acknowledging that you understand the risk of radiation poisoning.

Yeah that totally makes sense. And when you think about it... her body/body of work (I had to.) is going to be radioactive for a long time because of how half-life works. That's crazy to think about.
