His name is Jacob Thompson and this will be his last Christmas...early.
He is just nine years old and he has cancer.
His doctors don't think he will make It to December.
All he has asked for are some Christmas cards from around the world.
He loves penguins, minecraft and Legos.
He is a huge Star Wars' fan, too!
I was moved by his story and though mene would be too.
Maybe we could send him some Christmas cards to brighten his early holiday.

I'm so sorry for the Ping and it's not even an event. But I feel so strongly about this little act of kindness mission that I thought I would draw everyone's attention to it. Jacob may only have a few weeks left on this Earth. If you have enough money for a card and a stamp please send him a Christmas wish
that's all he wants for his last Christmas.

I myself have ordered several penguin Christmas cards off of esty. And I'm attempting to draw one of my own. It's a horrible little thing. But I think Jacob will love it all the same.

No I don't know him. I read the article in the paper and I couldn't stop thinking about him. And about his parents. It was just a very touching story. You know he didn't ask for anything outrageous or anything that I couldn't give to him.

My parents and I are going to send a card :)

Aw, thank you kit! Just remember he doesn't have very much time so Perfection isn't what he's looking for. He really just wants cards from around the world and to read what people write inside. I think it's very sweet of you.

Thank you so much. Stickers are a great idea but please don't hesitate sending it out without them if it will take awhile to get them.he only has a few weeks as of the article. I hope your kindness comes back tenfold <3

When trades come back into working condition I will be sending each and everyone of you with or without proof, something from RAK to show our gratitude.

It's amazing what Love and Hope can accomplish. I have personal knowledge of people that have hung on to finish what they wanted to do in life battling Against All Odds. So I'm hoping all the love he feels from everybody sending him cards that he doesn't even know will help him think of that instead of the last of his days. I know the circle of life and death is a necessity and I also believe in God but this story really has torn me up. I also hope my card makes it to him in time. And if he has a million of them he might not even get to read my card but I just want it in the pile.

150k for funeral expenses? Uhm... that kind of sounds excessive to be honest. My father's expenses were only 3k.
However, the kids request for an early Christmas for cards from around the world is a nice gesture but I think the GoFundMe is a bit money-hungry in my opinion.

I haven't been to the GoFundMe page. But this child's head cancer since he was 5 years old and I can't imagine how high his Hospital medical and medication bills are. My goal is just to get him a few more cards in his Christmas card pile. I hope they do a follow-up article and show him covered in cards. That would tickle me

I ordered some snow confetti to put inside my penguin card for him. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can get it sent off. Thanks to everyone who's read the article.

Aw, Mikio that is so sweet of you. I can't tell you how much it means to me. If y'all want to post some pictures of what you're sending I would totally love that. It might Inspire others to send him a card to. You know they can be old leftover Christmas cards or thank you notes or any kind of card you have he really just wants to see what you all have to say.
