It's easy to eat too so that should help.

When I'm not feeling good I tend to like rice.

Yesterday she was wanting chicken and rice soup.
My version is easy to make.
a cup of rice cook in microwave for 5 minutes in a seal-able container, but not completely shut.

In a separate container
2 cups water
1 spring or green onion chopped
6 bullion cubes
rotisserie chicken breast torn apart, or use leftover chicken
cook for 5 minutes in microwave, stir to make sure bullion cubes are dissolved.
Spoon in desired amount of rice.
You can swap back & forth between containers to get desired amount.
Makes several servings & reheats well.

Oh! I am sorry you were sick Damia. I had the stomach flu on my birthday (December 28) so I know how it is and this is the 2nd time I have gotten it. I had it 2 weeks earlier and regot it. :/ I hope you are feeling better!

Yeah, flu seems to be going around here. I got a cold from staying out on new years eve, then as I was getting over that, one of my co-workers passed her flu on to me.

I almost never get sick o.o
Just runny noses in the winter and sneezing constantly in the summer from the light.

Yeah, most of the time I'm good at not getting sick, but sometimes, there are things that just sneak up on you.

I don't know why I don't get sick. Maybe I got it all over with as a kid?

I had the opposite. I almost never got sick. I can count on one hand the times I got sick as a kid.
Then a couple years ago I developed seasonal allergies (something else I never had before), and now I regularly get sick at least once a year.

I got pneumonia one my first birthday... so my immune system was screwed for a while.

Thanks for the concern. Damia is sick again, she thought she was over it, went back to work for a few days, then sick again.
I made her go to the doctor this time. They did labs & blood work to see what it is he isn't sure it is the stomach flu this time.
She still hasn't been able to eat much this week, mostly wanted mashed potatoes & gravy.

star found out that cooking turkey burgers in the oven? keeps them moist and lets the flavor cook in a lot easier..

Indeed :D.
Plus you can do other things while they're cooking, so you don't have to babysit a stove.

Scrambled eggs with bacon, cheese, and cream cheese. o.o it was really good.
