Thanks for trying to keeping the thread going.
My internet has been sort of weird for the last few months.

Star ~ I used to love Olive Garden, but when we got a salad that had a rotten core in it we didn't go back for a few years. Now we don't order the salad since it comes in pre-made. When we have gone since then we always order the minestrone soup.

Connielass ~ I have never been to Caraba's, we don't have one close by.

I love this local restaurant near me. It's called River's Edge. It's got some of the best pizza around.

1 package ranch dressing mix
3-4 pieces boneless chicken (boiled) (can substitute beef)


Place in crock pot & let cook.

Topping suggestions:

Cheese
Sour Cream
Crushed Tortilla chips

This looks terrible, but taste wonderful especially on a cold night.

We need to have this again soon.
I love it with the ground beef, but we don't use the black beans neither of us like the taste of them.

Mom's Meatloaf

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup quick oatmeal
salt & pepper to taste
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 small can of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon of A-1
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together, pour into a loaf pan.
Cook for 1 hour or until done.

Mom also gave me the recipe for her chicken soup, but I think she left out some ingredients.

Hello & good evening to both of you.
We were to busy today to cook, so we ended up going out for dinner while we were doing errands.
Our Renaissance Festival opens in a little over 2 weeks & I still have so much to do.
Miscreant has decided he wants to try & make wings this time.
I was just planning on using my tattered faerie wings & decorated up a couple of years ago.
I got my head piece finished yesterday, still have to make his soon.

It is...and tasty. It's mostly one of those recipes that's "look in the fridge, grab the leftovers, and dump it in the bowl with the meat".

That's sort of how I make my mac and cheese. I start with a box of mac and cheese and add stuff to it.

Oooohh, mushroom-swiss mac & cheese; make mac like you usually would, then throw in some swiss cheese, mushrooms, and--if you like--burger meat.

not a recipe, but an idea: take oatmeal cookies, pulverize them, and use them in the creation of a pie shell.

I had the idea after smelling this "pumpkin" candle at work last night. While it DID smell somewhat like pumpkin, it smelled more like oatmeal cookies.

It seems that happens a lot....

May favorite way to make macaroni into a meal is just to add a can of chicken or leftover chicken to it.
Cheesy chicken mac is so good.
