UPDATE!
Planned Start Date March 2nd
Will open sign up forms last week of feb~
Hello everyone!
Recently, my charity got a very large donation of some really nice things, so I've been thinking about hosting a contest to promote activity on mene.
The contest would probably run for about 3 months, and within that time, whoever posts the most and whoever's threads generate the most replies will get a really nice prize =3
Currently, the top prizes are Menewsha Queen's Crown, Mask of the Phoenix, Sash set, Slippers set, and many other smaller prizes and pure~
Also thinking of getting a Bertie Bear for the contest.
But! I'ma need help judging at the end, since it will require a lot of manpower to go through.

Ideas
So, my current plan is to have a grand prize for generating the most activity, and then two categories with their own prizes for the most posts in three months, and those who's threads posted in that three months get the most replies.
People would be allowed to specify three pre-existing threads to use, though we would be counting activity from the last post before the contest started.
It could definitely work, but would require a lot of manpower to check in the end and in the beginning.
While the prizes are good so far, I would like to perhaps try and get a 100k item for top prize, so if anyone has one they are selling, feel free to post about it in here, especially if you'd be willing to give a discount.
Also, was thinking of also giving prizes to the art thread that finished the most commisions, and the person who purchased the most art in these three months, or something like that.

Sort of;
What will probably be best is there will be a google doc excel sheet of all the users who sign up to be part of the contest.
We'll have to record their post count at the time they signed up, and the post count of the threads they specify.
Then, at the end of the contest, we'll have to go through each one and record their final post count, and the number of posts their threads generated.
It's a lot of stuff, but hopefully if enough people help out, each person won't have too much to keep up with =3
Yes, but I'd hate to disallow things such as charity threads, hangouts, or quests that have been long running.
If there ends up not being a lot of helpers, than I may take that out of the equation.
However, if there's plenty of people helping update the tables, it shouldn't be too much work for any one person =3
yeah, there will definitely be assignments of some sort~ but that will have to wait till after signups so we know what we're dealing with~
Awesome! -adds you to the list-
Hmm, would a Berti Bear be a better prize, or a Baby Yan?
Assuming you get enough helpers, I would suggest having progress updates throughout the three months. That way people can see how they're comparing to the others and promote a little friendly competition.
I think that you should set up the sign up thread or generate some interest in your contest somehow before you set up a start date. Contests outside of site-run events tend to be smaller and make take more time to get people involved in, but if the start date is too far in the future, people may lose interest in the contest.
