I have met Stephanie Meyers, she is not that nice and she admits that she wrote the books for money and only for that. She would do much better if she just wrote romantic dime store novels.

I've heard some rather scary stuff from people who went through the horrid fans, and it just pushes me away even further from reading the books or seeing the movies.

You ARE AWESOME and completely correct! Twilight is like some crazy persons fanfiction that got published by some monkey of a publishing house. DON'T EVER READ OR SEE THE MOVIES

Some how this does not surprise me...although she's dropped another notch in my esteem now that I know that. Twilight always felt a bit half-assed, but her other work the Host is tolerable. Not brilliant but tolerable.

I like the twilight series. Partly because I can relate to the Bella character in a lot of ways and I understand how she feels about Edward. I think the books are a lot better than the movies and also have some really good quotes. It's also a good series that shows Love isn't always easy and a fairy tale. it has it's ups and down. It hurts as much as it feels amazing sometimes and sometimes the pain can take you over.

I love the books, it is romantic and easy to get in to.
The movies were horrible horrible horrible in every way shape and form.
The acting, story changes, and... Well everything.
It disappoints me. When I first read the books I was HOOKED on them. They made me go nuts and I could not stop reading.
The characters were cool, tho details were not there really for reasoning behind personalities and such. I mean... Bella is so plain yet all these guys love her. Um what? Why? Very weird.
Either way, Jacob movie and book wise saves it for me so yay him :)

I like it for the most part. I used to really hate it, but then I realized that it's so bad, it's good. My favorite is Breaking Dawn because it was just so WTF. I really liked Renesmee (gotta love creepy children!) and Jacob was (usually) pretty awesome.

I'd have to say I'm in the middle, I don't like it, or hate it.
I've read the books, and I didn't think much of them.
I watched the first two movies, and thought they were... terrible to say the least.
I don't plan on watching the last two movies, although I may watch the fourth one, sheerly out of curiosity to see how they plan to act out the whole pregnancy thing, but that won't happen till I can just grab the DVD from the rental store in like a few years time. I'm in no rush to go to the cinema and see it.
