I honestly can not believe that there isn't already a thread on this amazing, outstanding, fantastic, delicious, utterly wonderful comic.

Take story genius Brian Vaughan and super talented artist Fiona Staples and they have collaborated to make the greatest (IMO) comic of everything.
But don't take my word for it, check this out.

I have been following this comic since the beginning in fact (let me gloat goddamnit!) I have a first print issue #1!
I originally picked it up because I have a huge art-crush on Fiona Staple. I mean gahd! She can draw teeth so they don't look creepy!!

Oh have you seen this?

Maybe it's my crush talking but seriously everything she draws is easy on the eyes and hot-damn gorgeous. There's full on sex scenes in this comic, (ONOS!) but they don't look pornographic at all.

So Anyways! I had read the mini-series she had illustrated just prior to this coming out and went all goo-goo over the art and needed to find out her next project. Saga is page after page of some of the best comic art I have ever read, and the story is just fantastic as well. The characters are wonderful and you can experience a whole range of emotions in one issue.

SO WHO'S WITH ME ON LOVIN' FOR THIS AMAZABALLS COMIC!?

I've read the first two volumes, and although i didn't initially expect to like it, i really did. The first page made me laugh too much not to give it a chance!

I saw it in a bookshop I entered for retail therapy and liked the artwork. This was last week. Since then, I have spent $80 (NZ, don't freak out) on the first three volumes and I'm currently nagging all my friends to also read it. I love it so much! It's hilarious, but also gripping and really on point.

Also am I the only one who spent the entirety of volume three singing la vie boheme from rent at the book? It's just the whole "The opposite of war isn't peace, it's -" plotline that really gets me singing it.

Oh, I love it. I can't say that I've started singing to it, But then again I don't know that song.

This newest issue that I go (19) makes me worried though. Like all sorts of upset feels. I'm conflicted.

*puts fingers in ears* Lalalaalallaala I can't read 19 until I've had a couple of paychecks from my new job.

And ugh I can't find the refrain to La Vie Boheme but basically one of the characters just screams

"the opposite of war isn't peace! It's CREATION"
and yeah...
