I do have to admit my summer two years ago was all about youtubing naruto
but after episode 100 or so i started to get bored of naruto
the same thing happened to most of my friends.
But I recently just got back into bleach because i was taking a break because i was collecting the works of kaori yuki.
but ive never been able to get back into naruto unlike i did with bleach.
bleach has always kept me interested unlike naruto.
I know naruto has a huge fanbase and so does bleach
but if its to choose naruto or bleach.
I would say bleach in a heartbeat :]

Bleach all the waaaaay. <3
Oh, but first off?
DISCLAIMER: EVERYTHING I SAY HERE IS MY OWN OPINION AND YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR OWN. IF YOU LIKE NARUTO MORE THAN BLEACH, FINE BY ME; I'M JUST RAMBLING/RANTING. >.>;; I'm not saying you must love Bleach or anything.
Anyone. Back on to Bleach. Have you guys SEEN the latest developments?! D: I mean, sure, it sounds like one of "those" mangas, where it's "oh, boy becomes superhero/has supernatural powers and goes kick some ass", but it really does get much better later on. And even if there are moments that certainly do drag on and on and on...and on...and there's the typical "main character gets stronger and stronger" stuff going on, it is by far better than Naruto.
D:< I hate Naruto. [Both the person and the show]. I have a tendency to dislike main characters, but....god, I just want to tear him a new one.
It's not even the dub that's the main cause--although it certainly does suck ass--it's just...so...BAD. My first reaction to it was "What the hell kind of ninja wears bright orange?!"
Naruto has got to have some of the worst outfit designs I've ever seen; Naruto aside, what the crap is Sasuke wearing? And what is up with those retarded whiskers on Naruto? Yea, yea, he's got a fox crammed inside him--so? He doesn't have a stupid tail, does he? [In his normal form; I know he CAN sprout tails, 'kay?] So what, is he making a statement?
Also, I'm a stickler for art. I'm sorry, but even if the storyline is amazing (which it isn't, in Naruto's case), chances are, I wouldn't read it if the art sucked. While Naruto's art is certainly better than that of...say....Wedding Peach or whatever, it's still pretty bad, IMO.

And possibly since I've known and read it since '03 naruto has lsot it's fire for me. I can barely motivate myself to watch Shippuuden now despite my love for the Akatsuki.

Honestly, a long time ago, I would have said that Naruto was the better series by a long-shot. But definitely not anymore. Bleach and Naruto have both undergone radical changes since they first debuted in Shounen Jump, but at least Bleach is still enjoyable.
I don't really know what's going on with Naruto anymore, but the time skip was a horrible idea. We're suddenly thrown into events several years into the future and everything has drastically changed. Or so we're led to believe. After the all the new outfits and special techniques have been revealed, we're left with the same story we had before the timeskip. It ended up being completely pointless and it's sad, but most people don't even really care about what happened during that time.
Bleach was much better before the Soul Society ark, but there was no timeskip so at least the characters don't start pulling new moves and techniques out of nowhere. It's really more fun to read about the characters struggling to learn to new techniques than to have them suddenly know them after an extended absence. Or at least, that's what I think. The most important part of a story is the journey, not the conclusion. I don't want to see where the characters in Naruto got to after several years, I want to watch them get there.

I agree, Prince Butthead, the beginning of Naruto was really, really good. The Haku/Zabuza story arc was one of the best in any manga series. It started out so well, but it couldn't keep up that sort of quality. It got a little bit worse after that arc ended, but it didn't get horrible until the recent time skip.
