I definitely prefer Harry Potter; not only is it one of my all-time favorite series, but I dislike Twilight.

Harry Potter actually has deep meanings behind what happens in the series. Twilight doesn't - It's basically just a nonsensical teenage romance, in my opinion. The characters in Harry Potter were much more interesting and had reasons behind their actions; in Twilight, I felt that many of the characters really had no personalities whatsoever.
