I believe that double posts after 6 hours is legal.
...
But an edit would do fine in a slow thread like this.... I think.

*mind swims*

Yeah, this thread isn't exactly the hub of activity I'd wanted. ^^;

Ah, well, it parallels the lull in a crowd waiting for results.

Anything less than five hours the system will automatically merge. Afterward, as long as it's on topic, double posting is fine. ;D

Nice to know.

Mods are like informational moles. They pop up everywhere, but yay, it's easier than looking stuff up.

He didn't realise that you weren't supposed to be able to sell back the profession tool sets to the sellback store and got banned so fast he didn't have a chance to email an admin about it. :cry:

That....is a very strange picture. xD

WHAT.
That's one of the MOST unfair bannings I've ever, ever heard of! :(
...Do they realize now that, since the event was bugged and confusing out the wazoo, he should be unbanned? :(
'Cause he kinda deserves at least 10,000,000 other chances. He might have "exploited a bug" in their books, but during events, if there's a bug like that to unknowingly exploit... There's a fun little thing called the Benefit of the Doubt. Give it to your userbase, and they'll be good. :angel:
(I'm really shocked that he was banned over that, to say the least!)

And yes, it is a strange picture, isn't it? :lol:
Want her to do her hair for ya? I have her number! :cool: Well, her parents' number, anyway. :roll:

The staff's refusing to listen to reason about it. I'm really upset. I think I'll buy my CI's off the exchange instead of with cash from now on. It's a shame, too, cause I was just finally at a point where I could start spending cash on the site again, but...not after that.

Hahaha, I think that little girl is a little too crazy for my nice and normal hair. :P

I think there was a discussion about that on the facebook page? I saw something about that SOMEWHERE about cricket. He got like... 99 million gold.
> ___ >;;
The problem with that was that the other people who "exploited" the glitch told a mod about it and stopped or something.

He didn't realise that people weren't supposed to be able to sell them back--he wasn't haunting the thread like a lot of us were. He'd also just had surgery and was off his head on narcotics; by the time it occurred to him that he ought to have PM'ed a mod, he was already banned. They won't even talk to him; the mods won't even listen to reason. I'm more upset that they won't listen to reason than I am about anything else. They've had it out for him for a long time, though.

I find it somewhat hard to believe that the mods have it out for anybody. But I shall reserve judgement.

It's...a long story, and there's not much to be gained from retelling it; except perhaps making the mods angry at -me- as well. Good luck with your studying.

I suggest that anyone who doubts the integrity of the staff actually go and check out the discussion on the Facebook page about this. I think you'll find that things didn't quite happen as they're being portrayed here. Of course folks are welcome to believe what they choose. ;)

More on topic though - the results for Brollies and Bric-a-Brac are posted: link here.

That facebook discussion was still an unfair kangaroo court. I note the staff has still refused to get into contact with Cricket himself, despite the fact that he emailed them. But yes, let's stay on topic. Thanks for the link! ^_^ *goes to edit it into the first post*
