when looking around on menewsha i always see the same people i mean its not a bad thing its just a observation......

I like the fact that we see a lot of the same users posting. It gives more opportunity to make friends and give the site more of a community feel in my opinion.

I feel more comfortable when I see user names I recognize. I'm more likely to hop into a conversation that way.

Same here. If there's too many people that I don't know I just kind of shrink back into my own little corner and watch rather than posting.

It's like that in a lot of places. Even if I go to other avatar sites you'll often see people hanging out that know each other from different sites. It's kinda a strange thing yes?

Maybe it's the start difference between Gaia and every other avatar community.
I think it makes people more responsible as their posts and character will show more and influence how people view them, not just as a stranger online hiding behind an avatar but a person. I think that's a lot better than random popups all the time.

I'm surprised you say that, even though I do see many familiar usernames and avatars throughout the forums that I hang out in, there are also many that are not that familiar or that I haven't seen before. Most of these are new users but there are the odd user that doesn't come on often for whatever reason.

i like seeing new users and i like seeing old members.
i just like seeing members being active andnot lurking on menewsha.
