Oddly enough I came out of college a decent GPA (only class that gave me trouble was a stats class, but it had little to do with my study habits...I've just always been baffled by numbers) ^.^;

Stats wasn't that terrible for me since I took it in highschool xD

Why do you want to adopt: When I first joined Menewsha I remember there being several people welcoming me and remember a thread that helped me learn about the rules and whatnot and I always wanted to return the favor somehow. Hopefully I can meet more people as they come to Menewsha to build a bigger and better community.
What are you looking for in a newbie: Somebody who wants to have fun and wants to know more about Menewsha. Most imporant charteristic is that they want to have fun and enjoy some good conversation and maybe a good roleplay.
Fun Facts: I the youngest of my family and have three older brothers that I can easily beat up even if they weigh more then me, and my step dad has even secretly agreed that i won the fights. I am majoring in engineering so I love MATH so if you ever need math help I will help <3. I also have tutored a friend on math on facebook chat xD

I've just, always had a block when it came to math of any sort. I moved around a bunch when I was young and missed out on quite a lot, then got lost as all hell while trying to get caught up, and I never quite got there.

What did I do where? -looks around innocently-

Math is anything else in life you need to be constantly doing it to be good at it, otherwise you tend to forget things. I mean right now since I haven't had a proper math class in over 2 years I am rusty with simple Calculus intergrals :(

Fair enough. I always felt like I was fighting an uphill battle and then some. Even calculators hated me at times! (and always during tests, I swear). Not to mention that fact that my first foray into Algebra 2 was with the worst teacher I've ever had the misfortune of meeting.

Random note: I added a 'I am willing to adopt this many newbies' slot to the mentor form with a no more than 2 at a time stipulation. Figured that might be important in case we have a large number of new members looking to be adopted.

I hope lots of newbies see this thread -nodnod- but I need to get to bed otherwise i will miss my class tomorrow cause i can't get out of bed xD

Same here, actually (though not because of classes and more because I'm starting to get a 'you need to get your lame arse in bed' headache.) ^.^;

True enough. I was looking for a new way to help people draw people into Mene and this seemed like a pretty spiffy idea, and since I'm still looking for work, I had the free time between apps to make it happen.

What are you looking for in a newbie: Hm... I suppose newbies that can jive with my witty-ness. Lawls.

Fun Facts: Well, I work full time in a Government job. I play video games (I have a PlayStation thread in Game & Computer Discussion, watch some anime, watch movies, read a bunch of books, etc.

The only real pet-peeve I have, is chat/txt talk. The English language is an awesome language, full of many words and phrases that're interesting and entertaining. It's lost when chat/txt talk is used.
