I am new here but have been contemplating getting an account here for quite some time. I am Elmira Swift's daughter, and she has sent me some gold and clothes to get me started off , so that is how I got it. I enjoy drawing, but my style works better with cartoon-type characters so that is what I usually draw. Anyway, I am excited to be here and see what is in store!

Hi honey!! Glad to see you on here

Let me know if you have questions - I'm kinda in earshot of you right now. If I don't know an answer to something, someone else will usually pipe up!

Welcome to Mene! :3 It's like bring your kid to work day, except you are introducing them to our insanity! (and a generally fun forum place)

YeS!! Longcat is great to ask questions if I'm off in a daze, hon.

Years ago, Mene had staff at a con in Atlanta and we went! I remember Omi and another staff member (forgive my memory I'm an OLD woman!) were there. Soki liked them. I think my son was a little baby in a stroller and hubster was very freaked out by seeing people in costumes. It was memorable and she's asked about mene off and on for a while. She remembered the minimum age requirement

Yeah, I do well with sticking to the rules. It just feels "off" when I break rules. I am not sure why, it just bothers me.

You are my child and you know how weird I am about that so it's probably due to my ebbil influence!

I've not much of a con goer (scared of crowds). But yes, we are all over the place.
Our rules are pretty easy going. There's only a handful that we're strict on, and even then we don't usually autoban. Porn and Adbots get the boot though.
Just have fun and be as strange as you please. :3

A con in Atlanta? Man, if only I'd been here a few years ago.

Hope you enjoy the site, Soki! :)

This one was more of an anime con so it wasn't as huge as other cons. It was much more tame than I expected. This one was held at GA Tech. I think it was some time in 2008 or 2009. Wish I could remember what it was called.

I probably wouldn't have been able to make it to that one anyway but hey, I used to go to school there!

I went to UWG because I live in the same town. I really liked the GA Tech campus. Very interesting bunch of students there! Smart and very engaging. NOT like the vast majority of students at UWG.

Welcome to Menewsha! It's really fun and exciting when you have family joining in the same activities that you do.

This is so weird. That means we live in the same area.
I heard there's going to be a Panic! at the Disco concert at UWG soon.

Yes! That was what it was called! For some reason I kept thinking Torikat was there, but knew that was wrong. That was in 2010? I thought it was earlier than that.

Phaena! You are kidding me!!! Yes - my son goes to the pre-K on campus and I've seen signs for that event!

Haha nope! I won't be going but I'm still excited about it. Instead, I'll be going to their concert in St. Augustine with my girlfriend since at the moment, she's six hours away and she has school when Panic! will be here.

Torikat was SakuraCon I believe. :)

Welcome to menewsha Soki! :D
I can totally relate to the dislike of breaking rules. The rules here are for the most part guidelines. If you cross too far a mod or another user will likely let you know and help you ashore.
