Oh psychology is definitely fun. Even just doing a 101 course. I found Linguistic Anthropology equally interesting as well. They focused some on body language in the class.

I took an Anthropology class before. It would have been a lot more entertaining had my professor actually done more than just lecture the whole time. It did not hold my attention like it should have.

From what I remember, we barely even opened the books. Luckily, they were both really cheap, but we barely touched them, and I was a little disappointed. I think I earned a C in that course too. I don't know how, it's not like did anything.

Some professors lecture, others teach.
I've met a few teachers here on menewsha that I have wished I had. So I know there are amazing teachers out there.
I had one teacher though that didn't actually teach just sat there and told us to read the book.

I don't understand some of those teachers.
One of my favorite teachers actually taught. It was a History class, and I normally am not very good with History, but if I recall correctly, I got an A in that class because she met our needs, and made it fun.
It helped that I was allowed to take notes via laptop.

I'm the same way with english. My teacher made it fun, so we all did really well.
I don't like taking notes... they made me write so fast I couldn't read my writing after... it's actually note taking that made my handwriting so bad :(

oh I know how that goes. It's easier to take notes when you can type instead of write. I'm not in school anymore though, which kinda sucks, but at the same time, I was miserable in school. XD Lots of crappy teachers.

I wound up dropping out because I wasn't getting the help I needed. The disabilities department wasn't giving me any help, and my teachers didn't believe I needed extra help, so my grades were slipping lower and lower, and it got to be too much, so I just flunked out.
I might go back later at some point, if I can actually get the help I need instead of a runaround.

I've found that aspies make a lot more sense to me than typical "normal" people
People who are different, are something I can learn about. And aspies, each and every one is different in the fact there are no two alike in the world. It's so fascinating and cool owo
I react to meeting an aspie the same way other people react to a rockstar

I don't feel any different from a normal person, really. I mean, I know I need more help, and I do struggle a lot more, and I definitely see things differently, but I still manage to live on my own, maintain friendships, and I have a boyfriend that I love dearly, and have been living with him for several years now.
I guess it depends on the person though. But yes, you're right, It's definitely interesting to meet others like me.

You should check out my disability thread ^^ we get an aspie in there from time to time. I think lately most of them are busy.
What kind of things do you need help with? I've found that I struggle academically, but at times I've found ways that I learned very fast. Unfortunately, schools usually only use the written learning method, which I have nearly zero attention span for.

I'm not even sure anymore. I pretty much need help with everything. I get stressed out way too easily, I can't handle being in large groups, and I start panicking at things that "normal" people don't even bat an eye at.
It's very strange.

Really? Those aren't normal? O.o
I usually found that avoiding large groups helps me with those.
The only thing that gets pointed out that I stress about that's not normal though, is that I wont let people touch me

Touching doesn't bother me as much as people taking/touching my things. My personal space is not threatened unless it's an item of mine. I can't stand that.
