last time I went to Japan my cousin introduced me to some of her friends.

It's alright. Cute. Not something I would ever wear/attempt though.

I actually don't like this style.. I love the loli.. infact dress as a gothic loli myself..
but this just reminds me of something unpleasant.
The style makes them look fake, up tight and spoiled.
Not cute at all
But that's just me.

I like the cut and style of the dresses, but I don't think I could wear it. I'm really short. I love lolita too, mostly punk and casual. That I know I can't pull off.

I love it! It's one of my favourite fashion styles for sure, along with decora and lolita.
It's so adorable, and it really suits the girls who wear it, even though the tanning aspects may be bad for their health - it looks really good for this fashion! which reminds me of another fashion I love, Ganguro, a slightly dead style now, totally crazy, but really cool!

What other types of Japanese fashion do you like?

As I said above, I love all the lolita styles, especially sweet lolita with my favourite brands being ones like Angelic Pretty and Baby, The Stars Shine Bright. Decora is also a style I love so much, and ever since discovering the style I've moved on from gothic styled things to full out cute and shiny. I also love Ganguro, even if it is a dying style. The girls just seem so confident and out there, which I think is really cool!

I'm far too shy to go around dressed like that, and would end up hiding somewhere in shame. If I hadn't had my hair cut short recently, I would have loved to try out those gorgeous hairstyles!

lol thats pretty much how I dress on a daily basis but i like to explore more colours outside of just pink, cream, white and black. n_n I have a dress that was inspired by peacock feather blue and green o3o

I LOVE Hime Gal style! I love all different style of Gals too! But Hime might be one of my faves cause its so cute!

I also really love Sweet Lolita too. I wish I could pull it off, but the clothes are so expensive @A@!

You know you're right clohtes are expensive but I find esp. living in the west it's easy to just make your own clothes or buy pieces that give off the hime/loli vibe! That's one thing I dislike about lolita culture is that you *have* to buy clothes from certain shops like Jesus Diamante...but its not true!
Lolita style is how you interpret it- obv. there are some key elements (poofy skirts, bows etc) but you can bring that in by buying clothes from western shops or altering vintage store finds n_n
From h&m last summer I bought this cuuute pink dress it was long and it had poof potential so I bought a crinoline online and got it all nice and big and wah it looks like country loli

It's really hard to find good cute clothes down here in the South. If I do, half the time its way too much money! Sometimes I go digging around online and it doesn't help much either.
For Sweet Lolita, I'm not THAT into it so I really just want to own like ONE cute name brand dress and I'll be good to go. That's why I enjoy Hime Gal more because it can just be certain cute items but it can be an off store brand, just as long as its cute and looks good!
Omggg I really wish I knew how to make my own clothes, I would have a ball making cute outfits!

I like this style very much. And I like lolita too. I would totally dress Hime style if I had the body/looks for it.

I know what you mean, I'm not the thinnest girl on the planet and I'm really scared to try these cute styles. But I'm not going to let it stop me! I'm already finding pretty cute things that flatter my figure.
