Even though i dont think that you need good lyrics to make good music (its the actual music that counts) i do agree! All their songs are really samey and boring! None of their stuff stands out from the rest its all very bland!

I hate Nickelback.
I can't stand the lead singer's voice anymore.
It's just unpleasing to me.
And that one song that they did, Rockstar I think, was played so much I wanted to shoot myself in the head.
And I agree with everyone else.
Their songs do tend to be boring and pretty much the same.

I think they're sound are completely unoriginal in my opinion, like stated previous a lot of they're songs lack depth, and completely bore me when I listen to them to be honest. He definitely is not suited for singing either, overall not pleasing to the ears by hey thats in my opinion..

I completely agree with you. Does anyone else think that they just write the same song over and over? I can't tell one Nickelback song from the next...
I hate it when every song by the band sounds exactly the same. They aren't even structured well. And the guitar is boring. AND his voice really is very irritating. And the lyrics are about as deep as the wading pool. -_-;;

I was about to say all this but I got beaten to the punch!
I am picky about music to begin with, but bands like Nickelback are probably my least favorites out there.
BUT! I don't begrudge people for listening to them. Music is music. I may hate the band, but I have nothing against people just for liking them.

I have to admit, I don't much care for Nickelback either. Their songs seem awfully mediocre to my ear, and combined withthe singers voice I don't think I could put up with them for more than one track on the radio. ESPECIALLY that photograph song, it's just too sentimental and slushy for my tastes.

To be honest though, I don't hate his voice as much as I hate Axel Rose's, and luckily for me they play Guns and Roses quite a fair bit on the radio station I listen to. And that flipping Owl City song! I really dislike his voice. I know, I know, time to find a new station of choice!

I heard all the hype over them (him?) when the song came out, so I listened to a few songs my sister had on the computer, and, no joke, every single one was terrible.

I also agree about the Photograph song. The first time I heard it was on MTV; the music video came on while I was getting ready for school. I saw about the first five seconds, and started laughing so hard I had to turn the tv off.

For Nickleback, I can only stand every other song. :/ That's about it.

ARG, finally someone else who doesn't love Owl City! Even my mum loves that...guy...group...something. (it is confusing, isn't it?)
