i have the floor in front of my door and my manga bookcase mostly open except for some trash and a little pocket of carpet in front of my closet. and i can see the wall, but can only touch the one behind my bed and ones next to my door.
A.K.A.: No, no you can not. How about the rest of your massive bookcase? Buried beneath the mountains? xD

@Kita: You make a very regal and awesome kitty.
Thank you. :]
-bows-

:
Kita - Yes! The Twin Signal! Of course. I should have known.

REEDIT SOOOOOOOON. Is goooooood.
I know, silly person. xD <3

I will as soon as I can check things out from the library again. >_>;
I can't afford to just buy it. @_@ But then, I can't afford to pay that evil fine either... ><

:
@'Kitami
No! I would hide myself in a nuclear bomb shelter, eating nothing buy Spam and flat Dr Pepper, if it meant that I'd never have to read Twilight. If I ever get tempted, I'll just lock myself away from the rest of the world.
Well, that would....

xD... I was going to say that eating Spam and drinking flat Dr Pepper would actually be worse than getting addicted to Twilight, but sometimes I wonder. >_>;

:
tireth: You need to read Good Omens, I've managed to get people in Gaiman and Pratchett just by forcing them asking them to check it out. XD
That's on my to-read list too.
One of my friends told me about it and I went to check it out on Amazon, just read a summary, and I was like, "Oh that sounds really good."

:
ps.
... i... i have to clean my room. CRAP.
i'm taking pictures of it right now and i won't post them unless i get three people asking to see the horror. (dani. even you will be scared)
My room is...just scary right now. >.>;
It can't be worse than mine. xD

(LOL somehow that sounds like I'm bragging. xP)

I love Doctor Who, but I'm English so I'm genetically programmed to.
XD They implant little chips in your brain when you're born so that all may love Dr. Who!

It cannot be worse than my room, I guarantee you.

:
@aislin - goodness, i have to go ahead and rape your list once i get more space free on my hard drive. it's about that time again to burn dvds. i may have enough to do a couple bollywood movies dvd. =DD
i know what you mean. XD i've been slowly fangirling more and more since... well i have no clue, but i started with sandman. and i saw stardust and decided that i had to read it, even though i had had the book for ages. (as well as coraline and good omens, both of which i have yet to read.)
omg std. x3
but yeah, the one i got was like $200 something, but the one i had before was about 100-150 when i got it new.
yeah, doctor who. you can find torrents online of the episodes. you can also find them on youtube, but the quality is pretty crappy. i'm going to recommend you check it out, at least one episode. one random episode from the first two seasons of the new dw. i started off with "fear her" right before the two-ep finale of the second season.

@bishie - ... you get bbc one? because bbc america totally played the other three christmas specials today.
and omg. another house fan. i want to watch it, but i have so many other things to watch. not to mention i don't usually watch live tv. or tv that normal american people watch. (i watch bbc america and adult swim for the most part)
No, my friend downloaded it.
Cybermen are scary...XD;; Except my friend and made a little song for them because they march in time...it works very well.
Ooh, I saw Good Omens at my friend's house, but I didn't see what it was about.
I only really watch a few shows habitually: Seinfeld, Law and Order, Will & Grace, and House. Dr. Who I watch as my friend gets it.

and it was a short story on his site, not the blog part.

@dani - ... maybe? |D
i finally cleared out my suitcase and three clothes baskets today so i can almost see the the bottom of the other two cases :3

@bishie - so what happened to me to make me love doctor who?
i'm not from the uk.
and seriously? nothing, NOTHING can be more scary than the weeping angels. i still shy away from statues.

@kitami & bishie - MESSY ROOM CONTEST, GO!
try and take a panorama of your entire room from the middle and we'll see who comes out messiest.
i'm putting together my pictures now.

@Knerd: Glad to be of service!
Your bomb shelter is a fantastic idea, by the way! No one warned me before I picked the books up, though, and a friend actually recommended them... so I am among the masses. *ducks*

@Leenie: Actually, ebooks are relatively small in file size. But I know what you mean about crowded hard drives! I'd really like an external one to store all of my Buffy...
I'll probably watch what I can of it online before going the torrent route, just to save space. But thank you for recommending the show! I don't watch a lot of live T.V. either, so it's always nice to get recommendations about what's good.

@Cherry: I'm so excited! Someone has one of the books I posted to bookswap on their Wish List. //end dork.

I really think that Max Barry should be well known, so I'm recommending it like mad to everyone who asks for book recs from me. So that should take care of California's Silicon Valley. Just give me a year or so.

Have you ever read The Tipping Point?-- if you do, I'd like to point out your awesome Connector-oriented capabilities. Barry should hire you as a publicity agent.

Aislin - Yay!
I had a bunch of Nancy Drew books posted and almost all of them got requested. I actually had to put all my books on hold because I had gotten like, 11 credits but still didn't know what to spend them on. xD And mailing books isn't free. But I can always transfer some of the credits to the CD site to get some CDs with it. ^^

And no, I haven't read that. What's it about?

It's about how "Social Epidemics" spread. It's really cool, actually. It discusses everything from cigarettes to Blues Clues, crime and Hush Puppies.

It describes the type of people who ensure that word of mouth is wickedly more effective than any attempt at marketing campaigns. There are mavens, connectors... can't remember the third, really. But it's definitely a great book. Malcolm Gladwell wrote it, and he's gold at nonfiction.

It's The Tipping Point by Malcom Gladwell.

He also wrote another book, Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking, about the processes behind our snap judgments-- "thin slicing"-- and how snap judgments can have both positive and negative impacts on society and individual survival.

Gladwell just put out a new book, actually, but I haven't read it yet.
