Um, what is Jennifer Government about?
-edit-
Ahh, sorry, a spelling mistake, it might have something to do with my automatic spell checker. -corrects-

jennifer government is abooouuuuut...
this guy.
in a near future world.
where companies pretty much rule the world.
and this poor guy who works for nike.
is pretty much conned into killing people.
also everyone has their companies name as their surname.
so those kids in the mcdonald's-sponsored school all have mcdonald's as their last name.
and these kids live in australia, which is a territory or something of the us.
= first three chapters on a plate. 8D
i fail at summarizing things. ;_;

I'll probably start reading Neuromancer - It was at the top of my list anyway, and i've owned that book way to long to keep pushing it off.
But I'll probably bring Jennifer Government back with me to school. Never fear! I'll read it sometime this year.

@tirethminet- I haven't watched it nearly as much as I want to. But I do listen to the soundtrack almost every day at work.

Here you go!
Wikipedia describes it better than I'd ever be able to.

It sounds very interesting. I know my mom keeps bugging me about reading the Pern books as well. I've just been lazy. I have many other things I should be doing besides reading, but I love reading to much.

Tireth: The Torchwood book on crack was Another Life. The game Owen plays is actually called 'Second Reality', my bad! I haven't read most of the ones set in/around series two but hopefully my library will get some of the new ones that come out in May.
+ I'm up to the third issue of my Uncanny X-Men pocket book. In typical X-Men fashion at given point one half of the team has to believe the other half is dead/missing/captured when actually they're perfectly fine. Phones and whatnot evidentially don't work in the Marvel universe.
Which reminds me I need to finish reading Marvel 1602. -_-

I ordered a free book today. Since it was free, I figured it'd be like, either really bad or trying to sell something/a religion. But I talked to someone who had read it on a forum and they said it was really good and wasn't religious or an advertisement or something. So I'm looking forward to that!
I can post the link if someone's interested.

I would like the link but I also kinda want to wait until you get it to know for sure. hehe. -feels like it's too good to be true-
Also, like a silly person, I'm reading two books at a time now. Inkheart. Yup. I'll go update my challenge list. =]
