Yes, Hecate was my favorite character in the whole book. <3 She was very interesting.
She's the Greek goddess of the crossroads, and some good information about her can be found here. :3

Thankies!
-Reading it now-
I wonder if she was in the Mythology book my 9th grade English teacher had us read~
On the website, it mentions Persephone and Hades and how they came to be together and how Hecate had a part in it / their lives -- so it wouldn't surprise me if she were mentioned -- I honestly can't remember though~
I'll have to ask if I can borrow the book tomorrow :3

My, such conversation. Ne, Emmy - my mom bought the Michael Scott books a while back, around Christmas. ^^ Last night I randomly started reading in one of them, and it's a pretty easy, relaxed read, so I figured I'd read both of them for now. Won't take me longer then an hour or three.

Yuri- She might be, but in some versions, it was Helios who saw Hades abduct Persephone, rather than Hecate. It would be cool if she was in there, though! She's an awesome goddess, and one of my favorites. Let me know if she is in there, will you? :3

Sure thing ^.~
Hmm -- now that you mention Helios -- maybe it was him o.O
I know it started with an "H" -- I'll check tomorrow for sure though :3
I've been wanting to reread it again anyways :3

It certainly wasn't Hecate, I'd think. I mean, not in the actual mythology. Hecate is sort of the goddess I consider as my patron goddess, so, yeah... ^^' The guy who DID see was Hermes, actually - messenger of the gods? The one with the wings on his feet? ^^
Emmy - Sure thing. ^^ So far they seem interesting enough, though like I said, very relaxed and easy-reading.

Haha! I just checked a website of Greek Mythology - and it was after Demeter went into a rage over the dissapearance of her daughter that she asked Hecate about it - and Demeter and Hecate together went and saw Helios. XD Hermes was later on send by Zeus to fetch Persephone. XD
You're right - too many "h"'s.
Ick. :/ That might be a good idea, though. It'd be horrible if your eyesight got worse.

xDDD
So in other words, they all sounded familiar because they all played a part xD
No wonder it was so confusing!
Ehh -- it's just the headaches are coming on quicker than they used to -- so I'm thinking if I get a slightly bigger prescription, they'll help my eyes focus better, resulting in less frequent / long headaches :3

Tcha, no kidding! XD Greek mythology is wonderful, but really, so darn confusing. >.<'
That's a fact. At least, I hope that'll help a lot. I'm very prone to headaches, myself, so I know how much of a pain it is to have a headache all the time. *snugs Emmy* With all other health issues you have, annoyingly persistent headaches is the last thing you need.

Definitely <3
But since I adore it so much, it's easy to keep the Gods / Goddesses straight -- it's just hard to remember their actual stories xDD
Buuut -- they'll most likely get stuck in my brain once I buy a book on the mythology :3
Then I can read that along with Shakespeare's Sonnets all the time <33
I adore Sonnets 29 and 74 I believe~
We read them in English a couple days ago <3
-snuggles-
Very true~
We should learn a "RAIN GO AWAY" dance too xD
I mean, I know they have dances for rain to -come-, but do they have them for it to go away?
If so, we -definitely- need to do one here so my allergies'll stop and the mud'll dry up and go away xD
Oh!
By the way -- I finished Alice's Adventures in Wonderland today -- it was -amazing-~
I'm now reading Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There -- the Jabberwocky song is amazing <3
The one that the Cheshire Cat is singing about momewrathes out grabe and such in the Disney movie?
He's only singing one verse, but I adore it and couldn't get his voice out of my head as I was reading it xD
It was all I could do not to burst out laughing in the library from hearing the poem / song in the Cheshire Cat's singing voice xD <3

I got "The Complete works of William Shakespeare" a couple of years ago for my birthday, so I should check those Sonnets out sometime. I've hardly read in it so far, though. XD
I'm pretty sure there should be such a dance, but I'm not sure - dancing around in the rain in order to get rid of it doesn't strike me as such a smart thing to do.
lol! I have no idea, actually. I've never read an Alice book, not to mention that I only ever saw 'Alice in Wonderland' (the Disney version) once, since it's one of my less favourite things, since Alice annoys me. XD I like the "Ouran Host Club" version of the story better. ^,^
