Yuri: Sorry to butt in your Alice conversation!
We did the Jabberwocky poem in school. If you like that and Alice you'll probably like The Hunting of the Snark. If you haven't read it already that is. ^^
+ Many books went back to the library yesterday and I only got one out. I wanted to get the Arkham Asylum Batman comic but it had been transferred from another library and needed re-issuing. Since it was late night opening there was nobody there to do it, and the self service machine just told me to go to the desk. >.<

I need some help deciding something book related! I'm trying to decide on the last few books to take on vacation with me.
Should I take Queen of the Damned and The Tale of the Body Theif by Anne Rice, since I'm already bringing The Vampire Lestat and those are the two books that follow it? Or should I bring the first three books in the Temeraire series? That's about the Napoleonic wars, only they have dragons. Or should I just take a few of my favorite books to reread, so I'll have some easy reading I know I'll enjoy to fall back on? I can't decide, and am already bringing five other really long books plus a sixth short one and don't want to take all of the ones I mentioned. D: My bag would weigh too much.

Kat: Lol!
That's quite alright!
I haven't read that yet, but I'll definitely see if my library has it :3
I'm currently reading the 2nd Alice book while I'm reading the 3rd Vampirates book by Justin Somper -- so once I finish these I'll ask my Aunt (who's the school librarian) to see if she can get it in for me :3
Iltu: Hmm~
I'd go with Anne Rice; I adore her work and I've heard they're amazing reads :3
I'd also say to go with a one of your favorite books to reread as well :3

If I was actually reading bridal books that would be something but I've been getting all my ideas off of magazines and websites. I DO intend on reading one about handfasting once we move into the house and I can order it from online.
And Iltu... I'd go with the Anne Rice stuff too. ^.^

I'm in such a YA-type book mood lately. I can read heavy adult (don't mean pr0n) books, but lately I just like easy reads. I fear my brain is deteriorating... xD;
I'll finish Otherland someday...

@shadow - have you got that tattoo design down yet? :]
@iltu - how can people have trouble with your name? it's four letters. D:
and since i always speak things in my head, it sounds like "ill-too"
(is that right? :3)
@yuri - VAMPIRATES.
i should reread those before i get four. but. it's out already.
but i should finish the library books first.
i need longer days. ;_;
@dani - this archenemy, my dear.
italicised = book
@cherry - YA. <3
the majority of my personal library is YA. XD
speaking of, i got another 35 pages of fly by night done today! 8D
i was dragged along to my brother's gymnastics lesson since we go to dinner afterwards so i have nothing to do for almost an hour.
but it still takes me forever to read since i get distracted so easily. ;_;
ps.
the sorceress comes out on my brithday. 8D
i should read the other two first, though.
since i have them both. >_>;;;

Anne Rice it is, then! :3 Thanks guys!
Leenie- I don't really know. XD; I think it was because it's so easy to misspell/misread as Itlu and because it's hard to tell if it stars with a capital I or lowercase l.
I pronounce it like 'eel-too' but 'ill-too' works just as well, really. I mean, if my name were Iltu for real, I would answer to either pronunciation and not notice a whole lot of difference, SO.
And since it's the internet, not need for me to worry about how other people pronounce it anyway. :3

tireth: Lol!
I know what you mean~
I was in the middle of reading Through The Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There by Lewis Carroll when my aunt called me over and told me she got the 3rd Vampirates book in from another school for me <33
I was just like "YAYYYY!!"
And immediately started reading it <3333
-currently on page 40 or something-
Lorcan and Grace are my favorite characters -- I -hate- Shanti with a passion though >.>
I plan on buying the entire series on Tuesday when I go to the mall after seeing a play with my Junior Class :3
(going to the nearby city for a school field trip to see the play Anne Frank)
Oooo!!
I didn't know that was coming out soon!!
I'll -definitely- have to get it when it comes out <333
Yesss -- I'd definitely read them :3
But I'd read Vampirates first xD
And probably get the library books read and taken back before you get in trouble too XD
Plenty of time to read the two books before the 3rd comes out :3
I'm very excited to read about Gilgamesh <33
The only time I've ever heard Gilgamesh mentioned is in a story Ahdassa (sp?) (a Jewish girl pretending to be a Persian named Ester so she isn't persecuted while in the Palace) talks to the King's right hand guy about how she was reading Gilgamesh before she was forced to come to the Palace~ (Reference to the movie One Night With The King, absolutely adore the movie <333)

I bought Ink Exchange today and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes new book.
I don't care how old I get I will always read Amelia's books. xD

@yuri - i practically ate the first book when i got it a few years ago while i was visiting my grandparents in michigan.
it's so sad that he doesn't write it out, but knowing me, i wouldn't be able to read it. XD
it came out on april fool's ~~
and i still have yet to go to b&n to get it. ;_;
mostly since my stepdad's mom borrowed my car since hers was in the shop, so i haven't gone anywhere.
@shadow - i can't even think of any ideas either. D:
ps.
sosososo.
i made my book list all prettyful.
WITH SPOILER BOXES. <3
i think i have a thing for spoiler boxes. :3
