... I've read all my books.
Anyone know any really good novels? All I've had to read lately are a couple of manga I got a few days ago.

Hmm. I'm still reading World War Z, and I just returned to the library a really bad short novel I couldn't keep reading. It was just so much more dull than a novel about a private detective trying to find a unicorn in New York City on New Year's Even should be. That sounds like an exciting premise, doesn't it? The book was called Stalking the Unicorn, by the way.
Normally I give books till page 100 before I give up on them, but this time, I really just couldn't. :/

@ Guivre: I've heard of that one. I have his other book, The Zombie Survival Guide, and it's really cool.
@ LaVida: I think I've heard of that author. I haven't read any of their books yet, though. I'm trying to make a list of books to look out for next time I go to the library.

LaVida -- it does, now that I think about it. D=
I looked up the page for the novel on wiki, and I see that later the main character meets "Eohippus," a six inch tall horse, who is an expert on unicorns. ._. You would think that would be only too adorable, but I'm glad I saved myself from a leaden, lifeless portrayal of an adorable thing, lol.
Terrier and Bloodhound look good, by the way. I think the next book I'm going to read is something by Cecilia Holland. I forgot what a good writer she was until I read the dragon short story by her in The Dragon Book last week.

This seems like fun! I'll have to start on my reading once I get caught up on my homework. ^_^ I don't wanna count textbooks....I usually don't enjoy them.
Knerd - The Oath by Frank Peretti is really good! I haven't finished it yet due to said homework, but what I read was really good! If you haven't read his other book he wrote with Ted Dekker called House, you should. It's a very, very good book. So is Ted Dekker's book Thr3e. It has a very good storyline with plot twists and such you don't see coming. ^_^

Instead of going to bed at a reasonable time last night I stayed up and read about 10 issues of 52... then had to drag myself away from it. -_-
Now I need to add Booster Gold to my comics to-read list too. Gah.

@Sizzla: I sooooo have to read this book: Panic in Level 4 - Richard Preston. Didn't even know about it!
|
Me neither! I just found out about it not long ago... But even the title makes it sound awesome/interesting.
"Panic in Level 4: Cannibals, Killer Viruses, and Other Journeys to the Edge of Science"
Although, take note: It's a series of non-fiction pieces about different science/biology topics, so don't expect it to be like his other books. I didn't realize this until I was reading reviews online.

Hey everyone!
I haven't been around in a while, have I? Haven't had much time to read either. And I keep misplacing library books, which is very bad, because I haven't got that many books that I own, so I rely on the library. @_@; The one I've lost recently is a rather large novel, so I'm not sure how its hidden so well.

52 was a series intended to fill in the space between the end of Infinite Crisis and the start of 'One Year Later' (where all of the stories jumped a year forward). It focuses more on some 'minor' DC characters too.
|
Don't want to get in trouble for posting the same thing twice! (from some pages ago)
Hope your library book shows up soon Kita.

Woo! I've made it to book fifteen of the Xanth series! I don't think I'll finish the books by the end of March. Thirty-Two books in less then sixty days was just a little much... Especially Piers Anthony...
