Opening your eyes, you see that the world is but a dark and cruel place. All that was fought for has been lost. People are no longer people, but slaves to a ruthless elite class known as the la’Ronk. These elites control city, which means, they control the world. The world cripples between their heartless measures and laws. A revolution is needed, but no heroes have risen to the cause.
Oppressed and fearful, the people of Vistilial have come to terms with the darkness that has been cast upon them. There gods have failed them yet again. Time after time, the people of Vistilial have given up. Their faith and belief in the gods has vanished as has all hope and salvation.
However, during these tragic times, it is said that a team of heroes will rise from the ashes of the crumbled city and bring forth an era of eternal peace. These heroes, or guardians of the peace, come from all over the planet. Each possessing a skill and a trait that sets them apart from the others, these heroes will be back to stop any nonsense for if a coup d'état were to come about among the heroes, the traitor would have to be thwart. There is no acceptance for betrayal as betrayal is the worst of all the sins.
So who are these so-called heroes? There are ordinary citizens that encountered something that would forever brand them a hero. Each stumbled upon a legendary item that only they were destined to find. The item called them and they eventually came. Upon bonding with said item, the heroes knew they were destined for something greater. But they had no idea what greatness was bestowed upon them nor did they known the danger that filled their future.
This is the tale of those seven heroes who stood up and fought when no one else would. They, should they win, would become the leaders of the new world. Oppression would vanish. Hatred and war would be terms people feared. In this new era of hope, peace, and light, the seven guardians would help foster a time of wealth, love, and happiness, a golden era where people were free to do as they wished. Slavery would vanish and be banned across the nation.
Now, where do you stand? Are you the hero of the darkened world? Or are you just another helpless citizen who can’t find the courage within?
Places of Interest
The following locations play a crucial role in the development of the plot. Each place has its own tales and legends, but only the important stories are outlined in this section.
Vistilial
The planet in which life can be sustained on. It’s terrain ranges from nation to nation. Some areas of Vistilial are nothing but ceaseless wastelands while other parts of the planet thrive with wildlife and legend.
Vistilial is divided into eight nations. Of those seven, one is where the monarch lives. These people, as you might have guessed, are the la’Ronk. The people in this nation are wealthy and powerful. They determine how the people of Vistilial will live.
Kittmund
This is the nation that rules over all the others. Located high in the sky, this cloud nation can overlook all the other nations. Due to its location, Kittmund floats about, which allows the la’Ronk to keep a wary eye on its oppressed citizens.
Kittmund's capital is Kishmal. Here is where the Mon la’Ronk live. These la’Ronk are the ruling family. However, they have a royal court filled with la’Ronk from other families.
Other cities of importance include:
Si'feir, the heart of the corruption. This place has a shroud of darkness cloaking it from ordinary people. Nerkamorre, contains about 90 people and very few people could survive with its cold climates. It is bright just about all day and, because of the snow, it's almost blinding. This is on the far outskirts and its the highest elevated point on the floating nation.
Lief, home to the famous library. Scholars and diplomats from all of the other seven nations come here to have bi-weekly meetings to discuss the latest politics.
Quelfen, the location of the van'Cloaf. The van'Cloaf are the military officers who are summoned to stop rebellions and hinder rumors of corruption.
el'Darft
Believe it or not, this nation has the most diversity. Parts of it are in a wondrous jungle while other parts are sprawled out on a beach. Mountains and valleys zig-zag all over the terrain. A large lake in located to the eastern side of el'Darft and is home to the finest shopping malls.
Waal, this city is surrounded by a wall and is home to the priests of the world. People who visit here tend to go to the Cemetery of Souls.
Xa'al, located in a valley, this jungle village is home to an indigenous group of hostiles. It is wise to avoid getting lost in this part of the nation.
Ciel'fant
Ciel'fant is the most modernized of all the nations. Looking skyscrapers dot the nation as do industrial sized factories. The land has a great fog that rolls over it each morning and evening. The nation is home to the planet's banking system and treasury. On the far outskirts of the nation, there are ruins and temples from ancient times. People visit these as they are a world wonder.
New Vegra, the largest of all the cities. This place is the life and action of the planet. People travel from all over to see the lights and games of this large city whose crime rate is unreasonably high.
Ka'lent City, like it's brother city of New Vegra, this city is where all the famous Vistilialians live. Hill-top houses and rich rides are just some of the highlights from this city. There is a glass bridge that stretches over the city that parades take place on for the festive times of the year.
Optin
This nation is extremely rocky and, due to its terrain, this nation is filled with a sea of mines. Whether the people are digging for gold, silver, or diamonds, the la'Ronk have enslaved the people of this nation to look for all the finest of riches. Sadly, this nation has the largest number of people, so just about everyone born here has been forced to mine the mines.
Hidden Shaft, unknown to just about everyone, this shaft is said to have one of the five keys to the water-system. It also houses some of the most deadly monsters. People should only travel here in packs.
Valut, a small village that is said to have an underground layer to it. People here mine for gold, but this area is also famous for rare jewels. The Book of Maps is said to be hidden within this village.
Scisk, silver overpopulates this town. However, disease does as well. Scisk is said to be the home of the sick and the dying. It's peaceful here as the la'Ronk fear this wasteland.
Nazzinivia
Nazzinivia is the largest of all the nations, but it has the fewest amount of inhabitants. People here are constantly dying due to wild animals and landslides. This unstable nations was built on the roots of an inactive volcano. People who hail from this nation are said to be dark haired and thin skinned. The la'Ronk love using Nazzis for military reasons as they tend to make the best soldiers since their hearts tend to be tainted by greed.
Kilth, this town in on the outskirts of the nation in a dark forest. A tall mountain is the north of this village, which has become legendary due to its battle stadium. People who train here are said to be extremely strong especially if they can defeat Ol' Two Toes.
Vesper, is the city built on the side of the inactive volcano which gave the nation its name. Vesper is home to the airbase in which la'Ronk pilots train at. Vesper is said to house one of the Truth Orbs as well as a map to Kittmund's underground water system.
Percival City, this city is located on an island just off the eastern boarder of Nazzinivia. This island is, believe it or not, ruled by a royal family that was not appointed by the la'Ronk. However, since the island is small, the la'Ronk don't seem to mind.
Nithlium
Like its sister nation Nazzinivia, Nithlium is vast and broad. However, Nithlium has a much larger population than that's dark counterpart. Nonetheless, this nation is one of a few that likes to have its leader rule by a democracy. Due to this rebellious act, the la'Ronk are constantly wandering the nation and preventing an overthrow.
Alaaronie, this is the capital city of Nithlium. Even though the nation is typically covered in snow and ice, people from all over travel here to see the Ice Museum. Rumor has it that one of the ice sculptures houses a key that could open one of the fives gates to the water-system of Kittmund.
Silvie, this ranch infested town grows ice fruit as well as cash crops. These crops are used to feed the livestock and cold people of Nithlium.
Alshmere
This peaceful nation is flourishing with life. The nation was built among endless meadows and fields of flowers. This nation suffers the most from the oppression because it is without a leader. People here have always been lighthearted and peaceful.
Flou, is the largest of all the towns in Alshemere. It spreads out over a few hundred miles and the residents are scattered across the rolling land.
Yutz, the central city where all the trading takes place. The city plays a vital role in the survival of other nations as it is where all the other nations receive their food supply from. In the center of this city is a large oak tree that is said to hear the prayers of those who kneel before it. Many people come here just to pray for better days.
Gagdofph
An underwater nation that is made up of one large city. People can only live in this city as there are no other places people from Gagdofph can live. This nation is home to the world's finest scientists as it would only make sense that genius people live there. After all, not many people could survive the underwater pressure and feeling.
Wayfter is the only city in the nation. People walk and travel up tubs and bridges. There are no vehicles here, but people don't need them with air-pressure walk-ways.
Xe'fear [the Forbidden Underground City]
As the name implies, this nation is no longer a part of the map. Being banished from rankings of nation, this city has been doomed from the start. People who become a part of the Dark Side are only allowed admittance. Odd dark rituals are preformed down here and death is only ones best friend.
Helle D.N., the capital city of Xe'fear. This is where the dictator resides and rules over his Xerans. Coming here is the first mission of a new recruit to the Dark Side.
Daeth, is but a humble town where men who worship dark magic live. There is nothing more to be said about this horrific village.
People of Interest
These people are all important throughout this story. Each type of characters is divided according to the sub-category. More information about characters will be provided as the story continues.
The People of Kittmund
The people that live here are all of royal blood or extremely rich. As they say, with money comes power. These upper class snobs look down on the people that are less than they are and will often boast about how they are far more superior than anyone else.
The la’Ronk
The elite rulers of the land. There are ceaseless levels and types of la'Ronks. Mon la’Ronk are the chief rulers. Cor la'Ronk are members of the royal court. Kni la'Ronk are the royal guardians of the Mon la'Ronk. Med la'Ronk are medical elitists with magical healing powers.
The People of el'Darft
Darians are unlike any of the other nations. Their looks and personalities cover a wide range, so there is no definitive distinction for these people. Darians are the "melting" pot of the world.
The People of Ciel'fant
Similar to el'Darft, this nation is home to a great many types. There is no such thing as a pure-breed Cielian as this nation was created long after the others existed. People here are of all backgrounds, eccentricities, and personalities.
The People of Optin
This rock infested nation is home to a distinct group of people. There faces look chiseled and set in stone. They have a cold looking demeanor, which matches there indifferent personalities. People here tend to have gray dominate their life and body features.
The People of Nazzinivia
For the most part, people from this nation have dark hair. However, there is a breed of Nazzi that is quite the opposite. However, these Nazzi tend to be different and are often seen as outcasts. A true Nazzi has black hair with dark eyes of either gold, gray, or black. Their skin is also pale and sometimes gray. These people are said to be like the bloodsuckers (vampires) from ancient folklore.
Ol' Two Toes, is the legendary fighter from the pre-oppressed era. He's about eighty three years young and still going. People fight him to earn a label of strength from him. This male is also said to know the whereabouts of a Truth Orb.
The People of Alshmere
Alshians are pale skinned and pale haired people. They tend to have brilliant eye colors that reflect the many colors of the harvests. The women tend to run on the short side of the scale as do the men. For the most part, they are slender, but the majority of men are jacked and well-toned. During the sunny seasons, these people get a nice golden tan and sun-kissed hair highlights. Alshians are kind, open, and welcoming. Very few Alshians are criminals or soldiers. Peace is preferred above all else. Family over self is a practice which they preach.
The People of Nithlium
Nazzis are typically dark haired people with warm eye colors (red, orange, yellow, gold, etc.). These people are well-built and tend to be rather rough looking. However, not all Nithiums have this distinct look. A rarer breed are slender and fair; these ones have pale skin, hair, and eyes. Either way, these people are rough around the edges and tend to walk on the dangerous side of life. Darkness can also corrupt their minds far more easily just as their hearts are full of bitter-cold remorse and hate.
The People of Gagdofph
Gagdofians have only one set look. Anyone who is of true blood have white hair and blueish/black eyes. These people are extremely frail and have a very faint walk. Ingenious and soft spoken, these people have very fine hair that is often on the longer side. However, those who are scientists tend to have a nice "clean-cut" look. Either way, the people of the water are pale in complexion, but they tend to be the nicest of people. Emotions embody their every thought.
There are said to be seven heroes that will force the world back into peace and prosperity. Each of the heroes has a unique element that only they can wield. The seven elements are as follows: fire, lightning,earth, ice, water, light, and dark. In addition to gaining elemental powers, each hero has a unique item that identifies them as a hero. These items cannot be taken off and are a dead giveaway to the la'Ronk.
Each hero originates from a different nation, making them the expert for their homeland. In order to obtain peace, the heroes must find the Truth Obs. There is said to be thirty-two orbs scattered about the planet. Some of these orbs are in plain sight, others will require some... finding. However, as the heroes go on the quest to find the Truth Orbs, the la'Ronk have hired assassins to take out the heroes. So, along the way, the heroes will need to spare and increase their strength.
The Fiends
Throughout our heroes journey they will run into people and creatures that they will have to face. Monsters and creatures are the easiest to be slain, but bosses and humans make things all the more worst for our young heroes. In due time, it is rumored that the heroes will be confronted with Void and some may redirect their actions, joining Void's army.
Creatures Of Interest
These creatures are either feral, wild, or under the reign of the la’Ronk. Pick and choice your fights wisely or it could be your last breath.
The Creatures:
Skelzard: Nasty little buggers to say the least. They are all over the place and enjoy attacking you for the hell of it. Oh, and they live in packs. Joy. However, they do drop ammunition that they picked up from scavenging. Another fun fact about them is that there are elementally powered skelzards - pyro, acid, stun, and virus. Enjoy!
Shedeath: Don't let their cute looks fool you! These female humanoid creatures are deadly little assassins. To make it worse, when you attack them, they scream, which of course calls forth more. These feminine creatures drop money and some can drop weapons.
Vesporeon: A creature that only lurks around at night. To make it even worse, these things are wicked strong and get stronger with each attack they can land. Meaning, snipe and be done with it! Otherwise, run for your life!
Berserker: These creatures are rather human like. They love to talk and will often complain about getting lit on fire. Oh, and watch out. They like to steal money.
Juggernaut: Heh, one of the few monsters that will actually not be affected by elemental attacks. Luckily, it's slow as hell, but, as the name implies, it's unbelievably powerful. One whack from this beast and you'll be bleeding. On the bright side, awesome rare drops are acquirable.
Schizo: This thing is odd. At times, it attacks you. Other times, it attacks its allies. Nonetheless, these guys are wicked fast, but their heads are easy to take off! Bang, bang!
Destroyia: Strong. Fast. Travel in groups. Yeah, it's hell on legs.
Skipt: Loud as hell. You'll heard one of these suckers from miles away. They are incredibly slow, but horribly strong. To make it worst, it has a large lump-some of health. Oh, it also can shoot acid.
Batymite: Ummm, hello ugly? Yeah, it's a hideous creature to look at and it's even worse to fight. Why? It has a pulse attack. Meaning, if you're in range, you're getting assaulted. Good news, these guys are rare and what they drop if even rarer!
Nikoad: Just your average warrior toad. Wait, what? Yeah, it's actually a neutral creature. If you don't attack it or upset it, it won't hurt you. If you do, ahh! Run! These guys are spell casters and can use pyro, acid, stun, and virus at will. Oh, they have a two second cool down, so they are a bitch to kill. Drops are epic though!
Felius: These cat-like creature is naturally fast. It's blows kill shields in one hit. However, all felius have low HP compared to most other monsters. Moreover, this creature does drop money as well as shields.
Fangling: Tiny little guy that leeches onto you. They are of the element virus and drain your life faster than your shields can regain strength. They aren't necessarily hard, but they can be when they are found in packs.
Ninjackle: This creature is an ally! Don't assault! Oh, to make them even sweeter, you can ride them! This dogs come in many shapes, types, and styles. Some are rarer than others.

With darkness surrounding his entire life, it is only rational that he be the Hero of Darkness. He's a bit angsty and aggressive at times, but he's also shockingly rational, understanding, and emotional. He understands human limits and is fairly open. Nick is also intelligent, clever, deceptive, and manipulative, but that all comes with the dark territory.
¬ History: Nick grew up an orphan with his elder brother Deks. His sister Jenni died shortly after their mother passed away due to leukemia. Mr. Fusion was heartbroken and eventually took his own life when he stepped before a wagon driver to save his sons. Deks and Nick spent the next ten years parent-less, but Deks wasn't about to let that stop he and his brother. Being five years older than Nick, Deks did his best to provide for his emotionally scarred brother. However, one day, Nick's life would forever change, yet again. Initially, Nick had no interest in saving the world, but with his older brother dying before his eyes to a la'Ronk's blade, Nick vowed to find the other heroes and help as best he could. Setting off to face the unknown, Nick remembers his past, but does his best to not let it cloud his judgment as he doesn't want to disappoint hs brother.
¬ Hometown: Nick hails from Alaaronie, Nithium. This city is famous for its ice museum. Nick grew up on a small abode alongside the outskirts of the city. Spending a great many years training in the Silvie where he helped the farmers.
¬ The Item: Nick's item is unusual when compared to the other items. His is an eyebrow piercing that glows red when around monsters or the la'Ronk. He discovered it the day Deks was murdered. Nick was digging in the middle of the road because he claimed he heard something calling his name. Deks saw la'Ronk soldiers coming and did his best to prevent them from branding his brother with the la'Ronk mark. Dying, his brother's blood tainted the ground, which it made the item become fully visible. Bending over to pick it up, he soon found himself out cold and with an eyebrow piercing on his left side. From time to time, Nick will talk to it as he thinks it's his brother.

¬ Personality: Kris is on the quiet side. She would much rather sit and listen than try to throw her own opinion in. But don't let that make you believe she is shy. If she does have something to say, she won't be scared to share it. She gets frustrated with others easily and has a hard time really becoming friends with people. But she is very determined and refuses to give up on anything.
¬ History: The youngest of eight children, Kris was often forgotten and ignored on her small farm home in Alshmere. The only one to ever give her attention was her eldest brother Jacob. When her father died when she was twelve, the family fell apart. Kris's mother got sick and died shortly after leaving the eight kids alone to fend for them selves. The children all separated and left to start a new life on their own, while Kris and Jacob stayed on the farm and tried to keep it and themselves alive. Jacob taught Kris how to fight and how to blacksmith over the next few years.
But as the crops began to die along with their animals, Jacob would eat less and less to keep his sister well fed. Soon enough he died leaving Kristen alone.
¬ Hometown: The town of Flou was spread out over a few hundred miles. The residents were scattered across the fields and meadows of the rolling land. One small central location was home to a few buildings clustered together as the towns center, but most of the people lived out on the country side. Kris's home was the furthest from the town center. It was a simple one story home that her father had built with his own hands.
¬ The Item: Kris's item came to her in a very strange way. After her brother died and she was left with nothing, she made her way to the center of her small town. Her purpose there was to put her property up for sale since she could no longer care for it alone. While in middle of town amongst the few small buildings, she felt like something was pulling her away from the buildings. She followed this mental tug and walked away from the buildings to the huge oak tree that marked the exact center of the town. Sitting at the base of this tree was a young man that looked strikingly like her brother. The man was bleeding profusely from cuts and stab wounds all across his body, but he smiled at Kris, saying he was sent to give her something. After passing her the necklace, he took one last breath and died, with no further explanation.
The necklace was almost pulsing with life and Kris knew that it had been what was calling out to her. It pulsates in sync with Kris's own heart beat.

¬ History: At age five, Amory's mother died of a rare disease. His father eventually remarried, but never replaced any of his wife's things, leaving all the pictures out and even moved her clothes to another closet. Amory visited her grave every day that he could, and talked to her grave about new things he'd learned, just like she was alive. Of course, naturally, he hated his stepmother at first, and his father for remarrying, but he eventually got used to the fact of his father with another woman. Upon finding the tiara one day (he hadn't touched it until the day he moved out), he knew that there was something that he had to do.
¬ Hometown: Amory grew up in a town called Percival City, Nazzinivia, which is on the edge of an island covered in ice.
¬ The Item: Amory's Item, believe it or not, is a tiara, which is how he came across the nickname "Ice Princess." He discovered the tiara when he was moving out of his hometown, and took a trip to his mother's grave. It was sitting atop her grave, calling to him in his mother's voice to put it on. Once he did, however, he found that he could not take it off, but did not mind, since he still thinks that it holds his mother's soul.

¬ The Item: Once, when Liza had successfully found her brother (they both were in the same town, still), he led her to a place where the flowers bloomed like no other. They then began to meet up there until her father caught them and moved further away. She revisited the bed of flowers, and found a silver hairpin which she ended up putting on. Later on, she found that when she used her Earth abilities, the flower grew bigger, as if it were blooming.

¬ Personality: Hiro is an emotional person. He’s empathetic and is more often than not spurred on by his emotions. He’s not rash, but he doesn’t always think his actions thru before going through with them. He’s passionate about the things he believes are correct/right but he can be reasoned with. As a person Hiro doesn’t seem like he’s approachable, what with the way he’s always withdrawn into himself and forever lost in his own thoughts, but once one gets to know him, he’s quite the amiable character.
¬ History: Despite growing up as an only child, Hiro’s parents never spoiled their child. Whenever he did something well, his parents would say that that was to be expected. Whenever he did something bad, he was yelled at, questioned as to why he couldn’t do better. As he got older, Hiro learned to cherish what little praise he did get, wondering why his parents could never spare even one kind word for him. It was during these lonely times that he met a little girl by the name of Lea. They became fast friends and, unlike the others, Lea encouraged Hiro to pursue his artistic endeavors.
¬ Hometown: Of course, he was always the black cat of the family. He grew up in Wayfter, Gagdofph, so his artistic tendencies weren’t very welcome in a family of practical scientists. His family home wasn't that different from the rest. It was all very high-tech. His family lived near the edge of the dome so, if Hiro ever felt like it (which he often did) he could just sit on the roof and stare out at the aquatic life as they swam past the glass.
¬ The Item:The jewels adorning Hiro's face and hair were not always there. In fact, they were first seen after the death of his only friend. It had been labeled as a freak accident, what happened to Lea, but Hiro knew better. He refuses to speak about what happened but what people did know was that one day, about a week after Lea's death, Hiro had gone out to the very edges of the city, as he had done oftentimes with Lea, and had returned changed. While he had always been quite and reserved, he returned somber and he cut off all ties he had with others completely...and he had had those jewels decorating his visage. No one could get it out of him where they had come from though.
¬ Likes: skygazing, daydreaming, writing, playing/listening to music, singing, drawing/sketching, reading, taking walks under a light drizzle of rain

Ebony black нειgнт/ωειgнт: Jacob calls herself fun sized as she is five foot two inches. Even though she says she is a whale she weighs only a hundred and three pounds.
¬ Personality: Jacob is probably the most childish and puzzle like person you could ever meet. Her mind is chaos and she is always getting in trouble with her silly little adventures. She is like everyone else though. Jacob has her problems and her ups and downs. Just a bit more downs than ups. Don't let her childish acts fool you though she is very smart and sarcastic. Her height is not the only thing that is short. So is her temper. Piss her off and she will become your living hell. Otherwise, she is pretty down to earth and likes to be around certain people.
¬ History: As like every other child Jacob was born into this world. Though her parents wanted another boy not a girl. So that's how she got the name Jacob. Jacob was a quiet child but got into a lot of trouble. Jacob's mother got over not wanting a boy and was glad she had a child but her father not so much. Apparently having one child just wasn't good enough. He started to get drunk an abusive to Jacob and her mother. One time, while Jacob's mother was making soup for Jacob's flu and she was sitting in the bathtub her father came in and tried to drown her. On her death bed it was frightful. Certainly, only being about 8 years old. Her father was taken to a mental hospital and Jacob was taken away from her mother. Mason went along with Jacob and promised he would take care of her. Until this day he still is taking care of his little sister.
¬ Hometown: Not many people have heard of where Jacob has come from but she used to live in a isolated town in Kittmund called Nerkamorre it only contained about 90 people and very few people could survive with its cold climates and since it was so bright all day and would always get snowed upon and have severe storms. Jacob's house was one of the largest but it was the scariest. Creaky and castle like, Jacob doesn't like to remember that house very much thanks to things that have happened in there.
¬ The Item: Jacob's grandmother who pretty much everyone thought this lady was crazy to gave them to her. The earrings had lightning bolts and her grandmother gave them to her when she turned seventeen. Of course Jacob absolutely loved them because they were so bright and one of a kind. That was until her grandmother died of a unexpected heart attack the next day. Jacob continues to wear the earrings in remembrance of grandmother.
¬ Likes: Jacob doesn't usually tell her likes to many people because she is afraid they will judge her. Her favorite thing to collect is stuffed animals of some sorts. Such as teddy bears, dinosaurs, and monsters. She absolutely adores animals and can't seem to get her hands off of them. Photography is something she loves to do certainly taking pictures of her best friend Nick even though he tells her to stop doing it Jacob continues. She may be emo about her life but there is one thing she never wants to miss, the sunset. When the sky is purple and pink and everything is now starting to go dark. Oddly enough, this small little monster is always eating but never seems to gain weight. Actually, the more she seems to eat the more she loses weight. Isn't that strange? Jacob likes to be around her what seems like only friend Nick and her older brother Mason. It seems they are the only two who she can actually show her true self too.
¬ Dislikes: Even though Lightening is her element she is absolutely terrified of it. Jacob goes into hysterics and hides under blankets or jumps on her brothers back and buries her face in his back. Water, is another thing that terrifies her. As her father tried to kill her by drowning her in a bathtub when she was five. Even though that is in the past she won't let it down. Heights, don't put her on anything that's above her height. It just makes her grip onto her for dear life. Even though Jacob may act tough she is probably the most childish and "scardy cat" person you could ever meet.

¬ Personality: Akane is usually found to be a quiet person when first met, which is surprising considering her true nature. She is usually wary of newcomers but always gives one a chance before she is to judge. For the most part she has a fairly laid back and friendly disposition but is known to become quite aggressive when emotionally disturbed in any way, shape, or form. She is a loyal friend and companion and will stop at nothing to help those that are in need of aide. Once in a while her temper will outweigh the rationality of the idea behind something as she tends to be a bit brash from time to time.
¬ History: Akane still is unsure where her origins of birth truly lay. As far as she could recall she never remembered there ever being a father in her life, and she dared not inquire as to what became of him. Her mother always sort of shunned Akane, the woman never truly able to meet her daughter's mismatched gaze. Personally believing that it was due to whatever heritage her father's side held, she remained the constant reminder to her mother of her so called "sins". Akane hopes she will one day uncover the truth about her father. The only clue to him being a strange ring that was sent to her on her sixteenth birthday in an unmarked package.
¬ Hometown: Hails from the city of New Vegra in the Ciel'fant nation where she lives pretty much in the heart of it by herself.
¬ The Item: It was on the evening of her sixteenth birthday when a courier arrived to deliver a small package to her mother's door. She was surprised to find that a ring was tucked neatly into a small crimson colored satin bag. As soon as the ring's metal came into contact with her skin it emitted a strange glow. Immediately she placed the ring on her hand and was surprised to find that it fit perfectly on her left hand's ring finger. Her mother having come into the room at the moment and had spotted the strange gift to her daughter shrank away from her even more than usual. Demanding an explanation as to why her mother was acting far stranger than normal, it was revealed that the ring belonged to Akane's father.
¬ Likes: Cigarettes and a strong mixed drink, spicy foods, taking care of her bonsai trees and orchids, she also has a weak spot for animals, painting with acrylics, warmth, sunny days as well as watching sunsets.

¬ Personality: Giving off such an innocent look Sumiko keeps with this for a surface act. She is a hopeless romantic however not as trusting as she will lead people to believe. She is also much more complicated then she will ever let on. She hs a very gentle personality normally, only changing when angered into a rather viscous girl. Much like her element she is never truly still and conceal most things beneath a calm surface. She is most peaceful around water kept away from any source of water for an extended period of time she gets agitated. This is very rare though.
¬ History: Sumiko's mother died in childbirth and her father was unknown, she was raised by her uncle and aunt. She was an only child and therefor had her own room. She aspired to be more then just a miner like everyone else was becoming. She avoided most people, attempting to find a natural source of water beside the wells around the town. She had her fair share of guys asking her out but seemed to blabber in reply about waiting for the one. She kept to herself as much as possible however she made sure to visit her mother's grave on her birthday. Her uncle was a heavy drinker but this didn't really effect her unless her aunt was away that night. Sumiko didn't really remember anything about it until one day when she was 16 and her aunt was away helping her friend prepare for a wedding. Her uncle had snuck into her chambers whilst drunk and the memory torments most her sleeping hours. The only time she has witnessed sleeping peacefully was when she slept by the well one night. Since then nothing eventful really happened, beside her aunt slowly beginning to resent Sumiko seeming to have found about her uncle's antics. Sumiko isn't really bothered by this believing that her true love lies beyond the borders of Optin.
¬ Hometown: Born in Valut, Optin she is rather fond of the hidden shaft drawn there by some unknown force but not brave enough to enter.
¬ The Item: When she was only 15 she had gone to hide by the hidden shaft, she decided to peer inside and once her gaze fell upon something glinting. She went over to it and retrieved the bracelet. She shortly headed home presuming it was someone who had found the shaft and died by the creatures inside. She hid it under her pillow and one morning awoke to find it on the floor. She put it on her wrist and hasn't removed it since.

¬ History: Growing up an only child, Ant was privileged to get everything he ever wanted, but he was never greedy so it wasn't like he asked for alot. After he graduated from the academy he entered a special medical school and graduated that at the top of his class. Ant was then selected to be a Med la'Ronk and was assigned to Jenny Lynn.
¬ Hometown: Vesper, Nazzinivia. Ant lived in the training city for the la'Ronk pilots. His father was one of the top pilots charged with training all of the new pilots.
¬ la'Ronk Role: Ant had no intention of joining the la'Ronk, but because his dad was a high ranking pilot and because Ant had outstanding grades he was quickly found. His father forced him into it and that is how he got to where he is today. Ant was assigned to Jenny Lynn. His job is to keep her healthy and void of injury, and to also fix up anyone she deems necessary. He follows orders, that is it.

¬ Personality: Kyna is a headstrong individual, the type that usually only speaks when her words actually serve a purpose and aren't just there to fill the space. A lot of times when people see her she is quiet and many think it's because she is shy, though that is far from the case. The eldest daughter to the Riddle family is quite warm and welcoming, never giving off any real vibe of her handicap. She is also quite intelligent, never one to act without thought. Some people have said that it's sometimes like she can see into the future, but it's just more of her careful planning than anything else. She's a rather simple girl but it takes quite a bit to get her to open up. She likes to keep things to herself leaving many people wondering what she is thinking or planning.
Even wih her family's new 'name', Kyna is still her usual confident, wanting to be in charge, self. She understands what the title means and the roles that it puts on her, but with her rebellious nature she continues to act and hang out with whomever she wants.
¬ History: Kyna's family were aids to the chief rulers and therefore had managed to get their daughter within the top of the top, though it helped that she was part of the royal court anyway. Being in such a rank allowed her the privlege in gaining a pair of rare hounds that aid as her 'seeing eye dogs' or sorts, though they are much more than that.
When Kyna was younger, and even to this day, she was a troublesome girl, always disobeying her parents and only doing what she wants. When she was little though, it had brought her great trouble. She was wandering about her hometown of Percival City when one of the well known landslide occured. She got trapped in it and was swept away. It was many hours before the girl had been found but when they recovered her among the till, she was blackened for the slide, covered in her own blood and screaming as she covered her eyes.
It was uknown as to what really happened, but somehow during the occurance Kyna had lost her sight. She obviously doesn't remember what happened though. At that point her family started enforcing and putting their name out there as la'Ronk and the majority of the city seemed to comply seeing as they held the rank already, though it wasn't through usual la'Ronk force.
The Riddle family did everything they could to steak their claim to the name and thought it was going unnoticed until the Mon la'Ronk called them in. Now, Kyna's family line was once the main Mon la'Ronk lineage but that time had since passed. Upon being called in, among other business, Kyna had recieved her 'hounds' whom she was told were named Faline and Rory.
¬ Hometown: Kyna grew up in Percival City in Nazzinivia where her family owned a large bungalo-style home on the cliffs that over looked the sea.
¬ la'Ronk Role: As a Cor la'Ronk, it should be Kyna's job to help 'rule' over the lands with the laws from the Mon la'Ronk, but what she should do and actually does tend to disagree on occassion.
¬ Likes: Night time, storms, exploring
¬ Dislikes: Peppers, the loss of anyone she cares about, especially friends, family, and her Unai hounds.

¬ Personality: Xavier is known to be a calm and level-headed individual especially while in the midst of large amounts of pressure. He is confident in his abilities and is unquestionably loyally committed to those he serves under, stopping at nothing to fulfill their whims and desires. When it comes to carrying out orders concerning execution or extermination, he is found to carry out the sentence without a second's hesitation. On the battle field he is found to be a formidable opponent never losing his calm demeanor, it is as if he has no regards for other life aside from those he serve. This believed to be the leading reasons he earned the call sign of 'Reaper'. He is highly intelligent and found to be one of the most respected of the royal guardians, not to mention one of the highest ranking.
¬ History:
Xavier's mother was a member of the Mon la'Ronk where his father was another of the Kni la'Ronk. His father was his mother's personal guard, it was no surprise to others that the two fell in love and started their own little family. Though their secret had to be kept considering Xavier's mother's position in the court, she was needed to be seen as available for marriage to other Mon la'Ronk officials. As long as he was kept in secret and raised as a member of the royal guardians things would remain peaceful and life would go about the usual routine. Eventually his mother was betrothed to another member in the court, his father not agreeing with the arrangement but kept his mouth shut. His father met his end shortly after the marriage was set into place. Unable to endure anymore of the stories of the new lords and his beloved bride, he set out to assassinate the other male and to steal his love back. Both his mother and father were executed for treason and adultery. The Mon la'Ronk found that Xavier himself would be the best candidate to carry out the sentence, or he would be forced to join them as well. His parents convinced him that this was the proper thing to do so that he would have a chance to redeem their name within the ranks of the la'Ronk.
After the death sentence was carried out, Xavier found that he was void of all emotionally ties to anyone or anything. He was formed into the perfect warrior and quickly climbed his way into the higher ranks of the Kni la'Ronk. It grew apparent that he was a loyal member to have in the Kni la'Ronk, and caught the eye of Azra's father.
Periodically he battles with feelings of sympathy and actually is surprised to have found a strong attraction to one in the courts of the la'Ronk. He uses multiple ways (usually destructive) to help suppress these strange surges in feelings, though they only seem to happen when she is around him.
¬ Hometown: His true family's origin hail from somewhere in Nazzinivia explaining his strange coloration in appearance. He was born in one of the royal mansions of Kishmal, Kittmund.
¬ la'Ronk Role: Due to his parent's secret trysts that resulted in him, he was raised as a member of the Kn la'Ronk from the start. After his parents were executed, he immersed himself wholly into his training. Rising to a higher ranked royal guardian, he was placed under orders to be Azra's personal guardian by her father in his final moments of life.
¬ Likes: Giving into his destructive tendencies, carrying out his liege's orders, tinkering with anything mechanical as well as reading with a good glass of red wine.
¬ Dislikes: His unexplained feelings for the female, anything that involves upsetting his liege.
¬ Weapon(s) of Choice: His main weapon is a Gunblade, as is standard issued for all members of the Kni la'Ronk. He also carries on his being at all times a set of twin daggers, and collapsable spider bombs.

¬ Personality: Quirky and unpredictable in simplistic terms. Jenny Lynn's usually a nice, happy-go-lucky, hyperactive, knucklehead, gravity-hating, crazy girl that loves to be happy! But she's not all fun and games, she can also be a very serious female that strives to do her very best. She never takes "no" for an answer! She's headstrong and won't be pushed around by males, but this often makes her appear standoffish and often men are uninterested in her individualistic ways. Jenny Lynn's a rather unique girl that no one really understands. She isn't really fond of herself and is often in conflict with her inner-self. Jenny Lynn's just different and can be a bit too chipper at times. However, since being hired by the la'Ronk, Jenny Lynn has really mellowed down. She's now a tad colder than usual and is far more blunt.
¬ History: Her past was fairly easy. She lived a normal life and attended the academy. Upon graduation, Jenny Lynn was accidentally selected to attend a male assassin school. Training under the best of the best, she graduated with flying colors and would be given a very rare opportunity. She was the sole person that would be employed to destroy the seven heroes.
¬ Hometown: Silvie, Nithlium is Jenny Lynn's hometown. She lived on a ranch that grew ice fruit as well as cash crops for the neighboring farmers. Living with her twin and father, the blue eyed female learned how to be independent. With her mother working for the la'Ronk, she was about to move into a mansion with her father and sister by the age of fifteen.
¬ Role: Jenny Lynn obtained this job by accident. The la'Ronk soldiers were looking for her twin sister Jessie Lynn. In the mix up, Jenny was eventually found out. To her luck, she was able to live as was her sister. Jessie Lynn is now employed as a nurse for the la'Ronk while her blonde-haired sister is off trying to discover the whereabouts of the heroes. Her mission is simple - don't let the heroes win. She is more or less an assassin hired by the la'Ronk.

¬ Personality: He has a complicated personality as most would describe it. Even before he became an ‘angel’ he was very secretive and anti-social. He secretly was coping with loss a deprivation. He is usually a rather bold guy; he likes to act as though he isn’t afraid of anything at all. He tries to act cold and careless, however he is actually a rather gentle soul.
¬ History: He was born and raised in New Vegra, he had an uneventful childhood, being one of 5 children, the only male. Once he was 15 he moved away from his family into an apartment. He taught himself how to fight to protect his home from the robbery. He didn’t care for being alone, he did however happily take in an injured girl once. He nurtured her back to health and slowly fell for her. He had let her stay there with him after that but one night while he was out working someone broke into the apartment and when he got home, the apartment was trashed, there was blood on the walls and no sign of the girl. He presumed her dead and grieved for many days, nothing had been stolen as far as he knew. He was lately informed all his money was stolen; he got it back but learnt that there really is noone you can trust.
With his grudge in his heart and a cigarette in hand he continued life as though there was no occurrence at all. This was until he returned home to find a note informing him that the small silver cross chain necklace on the table would be his saving. He laughed but put it on. He suffered great pain that night barely moving from the spot on the floor, writhing there for multiple hours without relent. When he finally passed out he was bleeding profoundly from large lumps on his back. He dreamt that he was visited by someone; he could never tell who it was such a bright light he could barely gaze upon them. They informed him that he wasn’t human any more because of how black his heart had become, they told him he was to find a way to aide in keeping the balance in the world. If he were to do this and do it well then he would be allowed to have his heart lightened and freed and would be human once again.
¬ Hometown: In New Vegra, Ciel'fant, a tall apartment complex amongst the lights. Nothing special about it just the same as almost every other apartment in New Vegra.
¬ Role: Neither balance nor void, He is there to aide whichever side he chooses. He wishes to keep the equilibrium of existence in check. In doing this he will be granted the right to be human.
¬ Likes: being ‘human’, Intervening for both sides, being trusted.

¬ Personality: Cold as the snakes she controls and sometimes sarcastic, with a dark humor she is not the kind who makes someone feel warm and fuzzy. She wasn't always this way... but now she moves purely for revenge, barely containing the fire inside her. She is driven, smart, and not an enemy you want. She keeps all her emotions buried, planning carefully every move.
¬ History: She was born to a human woman who had been raped by a demon. When the woman saw the wing shaped birthmarks she knew the abomination she had given birth too.. and abandoned her. A priestess of an ancient snake goddess took her in, fearing her and yet loving her. She grew powerful...and beautiful, studying the ancient magic.
Eventually she was spotted by a man desiring to rise to power and the resurrection of his brother, his powers frail but his charm great. He seduced her, giving her the love and approval she'd desperately craved her entire life. He doted on her, bringing her roses every day. She then went to earn the forbidden power of her goddess, simply to bring him his brother back and what he desired.
She succeeded in raising his brother and raising his status, and he gave her a reward... a holy dagger in her demon heart as he whispered in her ear, "I don't NEED you anymore." He also killed her snakes for they attacked on instinct. As he left her there bleeding she swore her revenge and called to her goddess. The goddess barely saved her, if she had been full demon even it could not have, connecting her even stronger to a snake so even her body is influenced. She returns now from hiding, finally fully healed after many years to seek her revenge...
¬ Hometown: Xe'fear was her home. She lived in a large temple made of beautiful marble and stone. It shone even in the darkness of Xe'fear with its own light. Each column was covered in snakes, some stone, some living, all beautiful. Silk tapestries hung from the walls, even in the back living area for her and the other priestesses. It was open... free...
¬ Role: She is the last living priestess of the ancient snake god, and has the ability to resurrect the dead.... She desires to destroy her ex lover and the La'ronk

This place is more or less a reserves section for stuff I forgot to explain or mention.
The Lingo
Truth Orbs - There are thirty-two of these palm-sized orbs located throughout the planet. Each nation has its own distinct looking orbs. Their are seven set colors (ROYGBIV) for the seven nations that fall under the la'Ronk rule. The orbs from Kittmund are a mixture of all the colors or are the absence of color (gray, black, white, etc.). When all thirty-two orbs have been collected, they need to be dumped into the Pot of Relevance. Only when dumped in there, they orbs will reveal the hidden truths of the world.
Capturing a Truth Orb is easier said than done. Each of the heroes can only collect orbs from nation whose orb color matches the color of their item, unless in Kittmund. Anyone can collect Kittmund Truth Orbs. Moreover, each Truth Orb will fight their captor. In order to successfully obtain an orb, the hero must defeat their orb be either answering a question, winning in a duel against it, or doing it a special quest.
Red can only be collected by the Dark Elementalist in the nation of Ciel'fant.
Orange can only be collected by the Water Elementalist in the nation of Optin.
Yellow can only be collected by the Earth Elementalist in the nation of Nazzinivia.
Green can only be collected by the Ice Elementalist in the nation of Nithlium.
Blue can only be collected by the Lightning Elementalist in the nation of Alshmere.
Indigo can only be collected by the Fire Elementalist in the nation of Gagdofph.
Violet can only be collected by the Light Elementalist in the nation of el'Darft.
Pot of Relevance - After dumping all thirty-two Truth Orbs in this large silver pot, thirty-two hidden truths will be revealed. These truths will help the Seven Heroes defeat the evil la'Ronk that lay oppression on the planet of Vistilial. However, these truths alone will not help the heroes survive. They will only make the battle a little... easier. Moreover, only the Forgotten Wind Hero can hear the truths. Anyone else would hear lies. The Fives Gates to the Water-System - The five gates are nearly impossible to get into, but, when the five keys are found, it makes it all the easier. It is said that behind the gates lies a monster which helps the la'Ronk stay in power. Slay the beast and obtain its power. Lose and... RIP my friend. Book of Maps - This book contains maps for all the nations. It would make finding hidden locations and tunnels much easier. Perhaps, if acquired, la'Ronk knights or hired assassins could be avoided. This map can also reveal the approximate location of a Truth Orb. Neat, right? Cemetery of Souls - There is a Truth Orb here, and a large one at that. However, it is rumored that Void will appear to fight the heroes in this spot. It really should be avoided, but, that orb is the most important one of them all. At some point, the heroes will have to risk it all and pray not to cross blades with Void. The Seven Items - Each of the heroes has their own item that makes them stand out from ordinary people. These items cannot be removed (except upon death) and will glow when around the la'Ronk or enemies. These items tend to be activated by the blood of a loved one. They are also said to give guidance and words of advice when a hero is lost or confused. However, there is said to be a forgotten item. If the rumor is true, the following items will be of importance:
♥ Abomination. - For sending in a blonde character but saying they have black hair. She's a special pants, but that's why we love her. :]
♥ Riccros - For being the first person to join.
Dark: The hero with this power has the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness. The hero can also store weapons and/or items in an alternate dimension called the Shadow Realm. Only the Dark Elementalist can enter this world, so it should be used as a last resort hiding place. The shadows also allow its wielder to read the truth about someone. The shadows can preform "cat-scans" or read someone. Nonetheless, the hero is weakest when the sun is up, but grows stronger when the sun starts to set. At the noon hour, he is useless and unable to fight as there is no darkness for him to command. Even on cloudy days, Nick will be unable to use his dark powers.
Light: The light hero is the opposite of the Dark Elementalist. She is strongest during the noon hour and hours of daylight. Upon nightfall, her powers weaken, and at midnight she becomes useless. Rather than controlling shadows, the light hero can harness the power of the sun and use it to blind people. She can also create clear force-fields and send pulses of light at enemies. She's more or less like fire, only rather than the attacking being hot, it's blinding. She can also collect light by adding it to her necklace. This light can be called upon later to help light the way in darkness.
Lightning: The elementalist of lightning is able to create sparks, which can create a fire. Lightning and Fire are probably the most similar, but don't let their similarities trick you into thinking they are the same. In fact, lightning attacks are twice as strong as fire attacks. Moreover, lightning is unaffected by water. However, lightning does have its downfalls. Its strength comes from storms, so without storm clouds floating in the air, lightning is only half its strength.
Fire: Fire is said to be the least controllable, however the Fire Elementalist doesn't seem to think so. Able to create balls of fire as well as walls of fire, this hero is quite impressive. With water as its weakness, fire has to learn to overcome its weakness by being able to control hot steam. When steam has been mastered, then the fire hero is given a powerful ability. Fire also has the ability to keep people warm and to help brighten dark paths. This hero has excellent night vision as well.
Earth: This hero is blessed with the powers of life and creation. Unlike the other elementalists, this hero has the powers to create the destroyed. Flowers and planet life can bloom once again under her command. She doesn't really need weapons as she can wield trees, branches, grass, people-eating-plants, and other fun greenery to her will. Mud walls for protection and then creating massive landslides would fall on this hero's turf. In other words, this hero is pretty much free to do as she wishes with the plants of the planet. The only real weakness is darkness and ice, but even then she can find plants that adore that terrain. However, when compared to the others, her offense isn't all that great. But don't let that fool you.
Water: As the name implies, this hero has the ability to move and command water. Water shields and the ability to create a breathing bubble when swimming are just some more specialties this hero has. However, creating water walls or shields kills all endurance as water is a heavy liquid. This hero is also the only one able to heal people using purified water. The Water Elementalist can also do something a little... darker. As everyone knows, the human body is made up of water. So, if the controller wishes, the hero can control blood. Controlling blood allows the hero to manipulate a body whoever desired. However, doing this puts serious strain on the body.
Ice: This hero has magical powers that allow the user to freeze time. Although this freezing of time isn't necessarily, long, it's long enough that the hero can make a move. Moreover, when freezing time, the elementalist can also slow time. In other words, one second could end up acting like one hour. But the wielder of this ability will easily tire from using this power. Nonetheless, he also has the ability to create weapons from ice as well as shields. Ice shields are said to be the strongest of all the shields, so it only makes sense that he have great defense. The Ice Elementalist does best on cool days and will grow tired during hot temperatures. Moreover, the ice will melt at certain temperatures, and, when it does, he can no longer control it. Ice can only control ice.
Wind [the Forgotten Hero]: This forgotten hero has the ability to phase-walk. Phase-walking allows its user to turn invisible for about seven seconds. However, using this leaves the hero drained and with lower defenses. Perhaps it's because of having these invisible like powers that this eighth hero is forgotten and left behind. Either way, this hero can summon a pair of wings and is the only hero that is able to fly. It is said that this hero is unaware of their powers and is said to be on the Dark Side. Only the Truth Orbs will reveal their true identity.
Explaining Balance and Void
It is said that two people of conflicting interests that can steer the heroes toward their desirable goal. These two people are said to be the leaders of the forces called the Hero Side and the Dark Side. The Hero Side follows the guidance of Balance, an elementalist who has all the powers on his/her side. The Dark Side follows the reign of Void, an elementalist who negates all powers.
The leaders have long since died, but their spirit and fighting will has been passed down to a person in which each believed would help fulfill their wishes. Who they are and what they intend to due lies with the eyes of the gods. One can only pray that peace be found before hell is unleashed.
Balance: This elementalist guides the Hero Side. This leader follows a righteous path and seeks out balance in life. The powers behind Balance include the ability to make magical powers become stronger. Balance also has the ability to restore powers or give people elemental abilities. To do this, a light ritual must be preformed. However, when compared to Void, Balance is without strength. Balance relies of the strength of the heroes whereas Void release on her own strength.

The SnGs (Sh!ts 'n Giggles)
It has been decided that Nick will HATE the group. Why? Well, first things first, Liza is a chipper, preppy, optimistic girl that will most likely drive him insane. And, to make things worse, there is a great chance he will earn himself a 'gay' nickname - Nickypoo (yeah, totally degrading to him). Moreover, Amory might just find the dark haired male a dreamy wonder. Poor Nick. Not only will he have to deal with Skipper Sunshine (Liza), but he'll also have to withstand a Queer Princess (Amory) hitting on him. Perhaps, to spite them both, Nick might pair up with the Goody Light Shoes (Kris) to prevent them from driving him even more insane.
Based on a text I received from miss_SMG, it looks like Kyna wants Nick for herself. Oi. This guy is just a chick (and dick) magnet. It's a shame he's not into the whole "love thing." It'll make for an interesting romance twist. Anyone else want to have their character hit on Nick? I'm sure he'll hate you.
Good news! When Nick finally meets Hiro, he will finally get some peace. Best friends? Hell yes! Nick might even shove some of the girls at Hiro. What a lucky man!
Oh snap! Do I sense some hate tension building? The new girl Akane Miyazaki is an anti-hope girl and you know what that means. Yup, poor Kris is going to have issues. It's a good thing Nick's clinging to her like some pathetic fool or she might just going this alone. But, what's this? Nick's finding himself an angel with a man's name? Nick's got the hots from this chick that he'll be calling Jakeykins. Whatever will Kris do? Her only protection might be turning deviously sexual behind her back.
Oi. Is it just me or is this story going to be intense? So many characters with varying personalities working together sounds like it could spell disaster. But I guess we'll all just have to wait and see. Perhaps the final hero will prove to one that will keep everything under control. Or maybe this hero will add more fuel to the fire.
BAD NEWS! VERY BAD NEWS! There are only three men and one of the men is more gay than straight (well, he's too busy hitting on Nick to want to get a girl). Nick's playing hard to get (Wha? A guy playing hard to get... now that's special) and Hiro is just a sweetheart. Sumiko. Whoever will she fall for? Nick's got his fan club. If she were wise, she would be a man with less competition, but then again, a challenge is always fun. Let's just hope Nick doesn't leave the group with all the attention. He's never really be one for mobs and crowds. Although, wouldn't it be funny if he went gay? Hiro would be a lucky man. Getting all the ladies to himself. But then, if he was smart, he'd turn gay, too. Ya know, to join in on the bromancing.

The journey has just begun. At this point in time, all the heroes have heard their item whisper to them; "The truth lies in Ka'lent City. Go there and unite with them. You, are our only hope. Bring peace. Find salvation. Go and fulfill your destiny."
With the wise words of their item, the heroes have set out to find one another in Ka'lent City. According to the rumors, the heroes will meet on the doorsteps of dawn and watch as a golden sun kisses the horizon. Meaning, the heroes need to make their way to Dawn Castle. There, on the steps, they will convene and begin their epic journey to free the world from the darkness that lingers in the air.
However, the la'Ronk have heard rumors. Hiring an assassin and sending a medic along with her, will the heroes escape unscathed, or will death meet them with wielded blades? What will the Cor and Mon la'Ronk deside to have their hired assassin do? Spy? Murder? Or go... undercover?

The Sixth Month of Twelve in the Early Evening - Recapping the First 55 PostsX
Our story starts with Nick Fusion, the Dark Elementalist, arriving at the steps first. Rather than waiting on the steps and being a dead giveaway to the la’Ronk, he waits beside a tree. Later, Kris Bishop appears and she immediately notices Nick. Using caution, she approaches, but soon realizes that he was well aware of her presence. Using his powers, Nick identifies Kris as Light and introduces himself. He starts hitting on the girl and offers to “skip the small talk and jump straight to the hot sex.” Obviously rejected, the duo is joined by another – Jacob Felick, the Lightning Elementalist. She’s a bit different and seems to peg Nick right at the start.
It is evident that Jacob is the “bitchy fun-ruiner” one of the group, Nick is the “perverted flirt,” and Kris is the “innocent victim.”
After a few bickering words, Nick identifies the new woman for Kris. He also tries his best to make moves on her, but he clearly goes about it the wrong way. Attempting to play his “sensitive softy card,” Nick discovers that getting Kris to see his gentler side will be easier said than done due to the woman’s past – she’s never been to a movie! We also learn that Kris is soft spoken and slightly unsure what to do.
It becomes evident that Jacob is more than willing to speak her mind. Just because she’s among strangers doesn’t mean she’s going to back down on her fiery temper. Jacob seems to have a short fuse, but it only makes sense since she is Lightning. Jacob also discusses that she does not like it when people touch her. It is later found out that, if someone touches her, they will get shocked – she is unable to help this as it’s a side-effect of her power.
Saying goodbye to his town was a little easier than it should have been. Thankfully, his lack of connection made the parting all the more easier as he began his way to the steps. Asking for some good luck, Hiro Sasaki steps foot outside him home nation and makes his way to a library where he decides to watch from afar (rather stalker like). Being the Forgotten Wind Hero, Hiro does his best to keep attention off himself and his face covered in jewels. But he doesn’t hesitate to observe the three heroes that are gathered by the steps for amusement reasons.
Moving back to Nick and the girls, Nick continues to come up with pet-like nicknames for each hero – Kris is Angel, Jacob is Jakeykins, Hiro is Hiro-kun, Liza is Lee-Lee, Akane is Nene, Amory is Ice Princess, and Sumiko is Sumi-pie (this will appear throughout the storyline). Nick talks about how is does not like to be stereotyped. Earlier on, it was discussed that Nick is not one to really smile. He does little side smiles or half-smiles, but he’s not really one to let his true charming smile emerge.
With the conversation getting stale, Nick sits on the steps, just asking for trouble. Kris follows the man to the steps and ends up kissing his cheek (extremely close to his lips). This action sends Jacob haywire as she climbs a tree to escape the air of romance and love that floats around.
Another character is them introduced to the story as the love-triangle drama continues. Akane Miyazaki, the Fire Elementalist, is a bit shocked when her ring calls out to her, but she willingly leaves to face her fate. However, before she does, she finishes tattooing a man’s flesh as it would be rude to leave a job half-done.
Making her way to the city, Akane sees a jeweled male sitting and admiring an odd trio in the park. Asking to join him, she realizes she is before the Forgotten Hero. Staring at his jewels some, Akane’s attention soon drifts elsewhere as she recalls her mother’s teachings of politeness.
The scene then adjusts back to Jacob as she recalls her brother and how he used to use the same nickname for her – Jakeykins. Climbing higher into the tree and being swallowed by emotions of her lost brother, Jacob’s eyes flare open when she discovers she’s in danger. Waiting for the tree branch to give away, Jacob clings for her dear life. Completely blowing off the kiss, Nick hears the snapping sound of a branch and comes to her rescue. Catching her, he finds himself in a painful situation as her elbow is in his crotch and her lips are so close to his. Embarrassed, yet liking the contact, Nick does his best to start a conversation.
Kris, who is both puzzled and slightly heartbroken, offers to help the two, but is rejected by Jacob who fends for herself. Nick welcomes her help, but wished it came a little later as he was still sore from Jacob’s contact. As Kris steps back to give them air, her eyes catch a glimpse of Akane and Hiro watching them from the library.
Sumiko Flynn, Water Heroine, is added into the storyline as she leaves her hometown. Promising to return, she later ends up with Hiro and Akane. Like Akane, Sumi couldn’t help but stare at the beautiful man. Introducing herself, she joins the two.
Tears in full force, we watch as Jacob apologizes to Nick repeatedly. Suggesting that he stay away from her, Nick disobeys her orders and does his best to sooth the woman. Asking Kris to get him something to drink, he awaits for his alone time with Jacob. Looking in Kris’ direction, he called Akane, Sumi, and Hiro stalkers.
Frowning, Kris does as ordered, and suggests that the other trio help keep a wary eye on Nick and his recklessness. As she is looking for a drink, she bumps into Anthony Giuliani, an enemy la’Ronk man. Freaked out by the incident, he shoos the woman off as he has no interest in taking a human’s life. After all, he’s a Med la’Ronk – he’s supposed to save lives, not take them.
While Kris is out looking for a drink, Jacob takes offense to Nick’s comments. She is enraged by his childish act and calls him out on her nickname. Unpleased with Jacob’s observations, Nick discloses with her that he watched his brother die to save him. He also calls Jacob out on being a fake that only cares about her. Yet again, the two bicker and get nowhere. Nick, who’s pissed, summons a scythe and warns Jacob not to follow. Leaving her, he sets out on his own.
Meanwhile, Kyna Riddle is seen running from the la’Ronk. Having no interest in doing as she’s told, Kyna does her best to escape their claws and laws. Her Unai hounds help her out as she’s blind. Taking an alleyway, she ends up near the outskirts where she is later joined by Nick. But prior to their encounter, Nick is rejoined by Kris who failed at getting him a drink. Instead, she tries to sway the man into leaving with her as he was her first priority.
Jacob ends up getting pissed and tries her best to hit Nick with her rings. Missing, she runs off on her own only to get herself closer to the man she’s currently pissed at – Nick. She also talks about how his “sad story” isn’t sad and how she’s had worse – losing everything. Little does she know that Nick too has lost everything.
Alone with Kris, Nick begs the woman to join him as he fears being alone. He also reveals that he’d been using her. Upset, Kris agrees to go with him.
On the opposite side of the building where Nick and Kris are, Jacob turns herself into the la’Ronk guards. However, the guards are distracted by current orders – to find Ms. Kyna Riddle. Pissed at her rejection of death, she wanders some and ends up in hearing range on Nick. Nick, who’s happy to hear her voice, goes to her and ends up making out with the woman. He confesses that she drives him nuts. Keeping his a secret from Kris, he returns to his Light friend and offers himself to her as a “sexual pet.”
It then jumps back to a scene with Kyna where she is seeing some guards get knocked to their knees by lightning. As the approach a corner, Kyna’s eyes lay on Nick and Kris. Little does she know that Jacob is just around the bend – literally behind a wall.
Surprised by Nick’s sudden “ninja-like moves,” Jacob admits that Nick’s a strange boy. Not ready to reveal herself yet, Jacob eavesdrops and overhears the scene play out.
Kris is, yet again, saddened and declines Nick’s offer. She just wants a friend and the truth. Shockingly, Nick tells Kris everything from finding Jacob to the full make out session. Just as he finishes his confession, he discovers Kyna has been watching them. Drawn to yet another woman, Nick “quits” this love business. He also warns Kyna that he would break her heart.
Lost and confused, Kyna just backs away. More or less watching, her Unai keep on the alert.

The Mon la’Ronk Azra Verze comes into the storyline as a “cut-scene” jumps to her. We see her opening a door to walk into a meeting. In all black, she takes her place at the table. Awaiting her special guest – Princess – the leader keeps quiet as a few stragglers show up.
When the high and mighty assassin Jenny Lynn Walker (Princess) arrives on the scene, she’s flaunting her boots and red cape. Boots going up on the table, she watches the others turn their noses up in disgust. Getting the feeling that she has enraged the Cor and Kni la’Ronk, she leaves and awaits private orders from her boss – Azra.
Looking at the map, the finally yelled out in frustration. "Why the hell aren't I near the steps yet? I swear, I should have passed them three rights ago!" When his eyes caught sight of something, a scowl came over his slender face. "You have got to be kidding me! Are you fucking serious? How the hell could I screw this up?" Crinkling the map into a small ball, he the shot the wadded off-white paper away.
His bloodlust colored eyes narrowed as his head turned up toward the sky. A small grin was then followed by a quick head shake. "Brother, would were right. I can't read maps to save my life. I should have guessed I was... looking at it... upside down." Hanging his head in defeat, but only for a moment, the male began to retrace his steps to the avenue he started using the map on.
When he was back at the intersection, he walked backwards toward the left. "I hope this is right," he muttered to himself. He figured that if he took all lefts, he would find his way to the steps where he would face fate. At first he thought he was just being idiotic, but the more he pondered the thought, the more he wondered if it wasn't foolishness, but fear. What he was about to enter would forever change his life. There was a chance that he could die on this journey. It wasn't death that scared him. No, death was something this male was accustomed to. It was the unknown that he feared. He hated taking that leap of faith forward without knowing that his struggle and quest would bring the much desired peace.
Flocks of black fringe drifted into his cryptic eyes. With each step taken, he would inch closer to the unknown. And this scared the pale-skinned male. The hair on his neck rose on ends as the light crunching beneath his feet seemed to intensify.
"Nicholas Fusion, the Dark Elementalist Hero, has arrived. He embraces death with open arms, but he clings to taunting memories for the strength and courage to push on into the mysterious unknown. Will... will I make it? Or will I bring more suffering, destruction, and chaos to this oppressed world that I have begun to call home?"
Rather than standing on the stairs, the male found a shady spot that he would stand at. It was close enough to the stairs that he could hear people talk, but just enough out the of the way that if a la'Ronk walked by they would not assume he was a hero.
Waiting would be his first mission. Naturally, he would be the first to appear. Naturally, he would be the least patient. Luck just wasn't on his side. Not now and not ever.
Kris looked around at the strange city. Everything out here seemed to be so vastly different from her home. There were no fields here, no wide open spaces. The buildings towering over her began to feel claustrophobic. She shrugged the feeling off as she bit her lip and looked around. I hope this is the right direction. She thought to herself as she kept walking.
She turned a corner and her bright smile crossed her face as she saw her destination just ahead. Glancing around casually, she knew better than to just walk up. She looked out of place enough as it was in her 'country girl' attire, she didn't need the la'Ronk picking her out as one of the heros. Fingering the necklaces that hung around her pale neck, Kris proceeded on. She tucked the neckless beneath her shirt to hide it and stuck her hands into her pockets.
The weight of the hammer on her belt was comforting in the strange place. It made her feel better knowing that her favorite tool and weapon was so close, honestly without the hammer hanging on her hip she would have felt off balance. She pulled her jacket tighter around her, hiding the hammer and the daggers as she approached. As she got closer, Kris spotted a young man standing not to far away from the alleged meeting place. She eyed him curiously. He was handsome, no doubt, but he could have very well been the la'Ronk.
She changed direction and approached the young man from behind. The necklace hadn't reacted yet, so maybe that was a good sign. Being from the country, Kris had mastered the art of being sneaky. It came in handy when she had to sneak up on cows or horses that had run off the property. Approaching the young man, her smile grew. He was a hero she just knew it. She glanced quickly at the sinking sun and frowned for a small moment. Being Light, she wasn't all to skilled at night. But her smile returned and she stepped herself up next to you young man.
Staring out ahead, and not at him she grinned. "Hi there." She looked sideways at him before turning to face him, her curiosity making her speak more than her actual want of conversation. "So which one are you?"
Laughing to himself, Nick knew immediately that the woman approaching was on his side. The way she tried to sneak around and walk up to him just wasn't the typical manner for a la'Ronk. He had seem his fair share of them and knew that the average knight would just walk right up to them. Apparently, deception wasn't on their side. Moreover, being of darkness, Nick could feel the shadows shift some as the girl entered his space.
A nonchalant grin popped onto his face. "I would be your boyfriend." Looking down at the fair-haired woman, Nick grinned. "Actually," a scolding look overcame him. Several wrinkles dotted his nose as his lip curled up in a growl-like response. "You must be Light."
His head turned away from hers and his blood red eyes looked away in disgust. "In case it wasn't obvious, I'm Dark. The name's Nicholas Fusion, but please, call me Nick."
Standing there, he left his shadows grope at her body to get a readout of who she really was. Kris wouldn't feel anything nor would she even see it, but her body was literally being read like a bar code. It was one of a few tricks Nick had mastered with his elemental powers - the ability to determine a friend or foe and learn everything there is to know about them.
"The darkness tells me you're worried. You've nothing to fear, my angel. I wouldn't let anything happen to you. Darkness can only exist when there is light. If you go out, I will vanish as well."
His pale face looked lost in the darkness that shaded them as they awaited the others. "Are you in heat now? Because I smell blood. I know it's not mine, but... I can't really be sure if it's yours." A quick glance at her had Nick recoiling away. "Don't glare at me and don't hate me. I'm just trying to make conversation. We can skip the small talk and jump straight to the hot sex if you prefer."
Her eyes were dark and there was not a smile upon her face. It actually held no expression at all. Jacob looked at her surroundings the place was certainly strange but she took it in quite well and continued to walk. SHe continued to wander the streets in a daze. The sidewalks were quiet as people stared at her as if she were a freak. Jacob could only give a glad grin that she was creeping them out. After all, she could shock some life into their lazy bodies.
Her ring blade was carried on her arm or actually, on her shoulder. She was not in the mood to be played with. Her head hurt and she didn't want to be bothered. She could sense two other elements by. Opposites. Dark and light. Jacob followed the sense that lead her to a boy and a girl. Jacob bounced on her feet and smirked.
"You must be dark," She pointed to Nick. "And you must be light." She pointed to Kris. Jacob was not going to tell them her element not until she got used to them. Her dark eyes scanned them both looking for weapons. Looking for blood. None scanned check mark. So, that meant they couldn't harm her yet. Jacob slide the ring blade onto her wrist and it shrunk to a small sharp shiny bracelet. She turned back to Nick and glared. "You must be the perv, I could hear you talking about hot sex from a mile away...." Jacob could only roll her eyes.
Obviously, this wasn't going to go well. Pervert and pervert. Excellent. She could see herself being friends with them. Though Jacob might think she would scare the girl who was light. Jacob was devious and a devil. Dark, she could get along with. Maybe. It was a maybe for both of them because Jacob doesn't know either of them. Jaccob scanned Kris and picked out her knives. "Nice knives very well put together."

Kris's cheeks reddened when the young man looked down at her. That was definitely not the response she had been looking for. Was this boy always this serious? She frowned a bit when she saw him recoil away at the realization of his opposite. She folded her arms across her chest as she listened to him speak. Apparently he was good with his ability... to bad the light was fading or else she would have blinded him right then and there.
She felt her face flush more when he called her angel. It was something her brother had dubbed her years ago. The way the sun glinted off her hair seemed to give her the image of a halo at times. It felt strange to hear the nickname come from someone else's lips.
Then she frowned. if she wasn't smiling, normally she would be expressionless, but a frown, hardly ever. "No i;m not bleeding, not that what my body does is any of your business." She about stopped breathing at his last comment, but she was quick to recover and gave him one of those 'I can't believe you just tried that line' looks. "I'm sorry but no, I won't sleep with you or anyone else." Kris was a firm believer of abstinence until marriage. She looked away from him and out to the streets to see if anyone else was approaching. When she saw another girl approach she smiled warmly. But it was a strange introduction. Kris couldn't stifle back a small laugh. "I think you've hit the nail on the head with this one." It was more than she would normally say, but She was just meeting these people, better to be outgoing than her normal self, initially anyway.
"Me? A pervert? No, never. I'm just a horny bastard all the time. Nothing to worry about." His eyes rolled about some before he looked at the two females. "So you're the one that's got her... yeah. That explains that bitch radar I'm getting from you. I'll be sure to stand..." he took a few steps to his right, "over here."
It was an odd thing to see, but Nick flaunted his beautiful white teeth. He would smile, but never with a full, teeth-revealing grin. Giving the new girl a once over, Nick turned his head away to hide a blush. They were both incredibly beautiful and Nick knew his odds of ever actually getting into a relationship (intimate or friendship-wise) were slim to nothing. Still, he couldn't help but feel slightly blessed to bash in their sheer beauty.
"You're... Lightning? Impressive. I like how all the elements that are bright and shinny show up. Making lil' ol' dark me look like a tiny black spec." A smirk followed as he sidestepped back toward the women. It was a random transition, but he needed to keep them talking. The last thing he wanted was for both of them to worry.
"So, Angel, what is your actual name? Unless you would prefer I call you Angel from here on out." His eyes shifted down to the other. "And you, Fun-Ruining Bitch? What's your nickname?" His devious eyes narrowed some as he looked into her deep chocolate eyes. Toying with her would be oh-so-fun. He would do his best to make her miserable. But it wasn't out of spite he was going it. Nick was simply being cruel because that was just how he was - a true sadist and masochist at heart.
When the wind seeped through his clothes and chilled him some, Nick latched himself to both women. They were shorter than he, but, unlike him, they were warm. "Okay, so I've got negative points with you," he said looking at Angel. "What about with you? Am I at less than fifty?"
He was obviously talking about his odds of "scoring." Granted, Nick was a virgin, but he didn't really feel like admitting that now. He liked to act and talk tough. Underneath this facade he was putting on, Nick was really just a softy.
"I fold. I like long walks by the beach and I tear up every time I watch Love's Last Kiss." Had the two women known the movie, they would have realized it was a male's worst nightmare. The movie was purely a chick flick and a real tear-jerker. Men hated it, and yet, Nick had seen it twenty-seven times. He wasn't your typical male. But then again, your typical male didn't have elemental powers.
After her maid helped her get dressed Azra started off to the war room, as her father liked to call it. It was for discussing battle strategies and to hold meetings. Opening the door Azra walked in gracefully. She was wearing black today. She had on black jeans with holes in them and black leather ankle boots with silver buckles. For her top she had on a black and silver striped racer-back tank top on. Her long wavy fiery red hair was braided to the side in an intricate way. In her right hand she was holding her onyx staff.
Walking to the head of the long rectangle table Azra sat down in a high backed chair. Leaning forward she looked around to her group. The heads of the Kni la'Ronk and the Cor la'Ronk were there and she had a few assassins present. She had invited Princess but she wasn't there yet. Azra hoped she came she had big plans for her. Sitting back Azra didn't say anything but waited for any stragglers to show up.
Kris didn't answer, she was still trying to decide of she was going to like this dashing guy named Nick. He actually acted a lot like her brother... minus the whole wanting in her pants. But when Nick latched onto her her face flushed to an extreme shade of red. She wasn't used to the contact. Not just from guys but from others in general. Her family had not been one for showing affection. that meant no hugs or kisses or anything. Nick clinging to her put her totally out of her comfort zone.
She ignored her own fluster and listened to Nick as he spoke. "I've never seen a movie, or television." She told him. With so many kids, her family had always been pressed for money. They didn't have the normal luxuries most did. She was a farmer through and through, but it didn't bother her. She wouldn't have changed her life in anyway...except for maybe keeping her brother from dying.
Looking to the other girl, Kris was a little unsure of what to do. Stay there and let the boy cling to her for warmth or should she shrug him off and move away. He really wasn't a bother and honestly it was nice having someone so close. So for now Kris stayed put and let Nick hang on to her. Although she wondered when the others would show up. She wondered what they would be like. Would Nick act this way with the others also?
