He blushed and looked down. This other teacher was stronger than he was. She seemed to have the strength and courage to deal with such situations. But he was a teacher too and he had his obligations.

"I couldn't ask you to help out in my own responsibilities. I..I'm sure it will be ok, I just need to get to know the club a bit better." He swung his legs out from the bed slowly and carefully stood up.

"I best go back now and attend to my duties.....I thank you for your care and concern." He was a bit shaky but he became steady as he stood there. He gave a weak smile to her and a small shrug.

Tamaki decided to give the new girl another go and he straightened up and walked over. He held a single but large red rose in his hand as he put it toward her as a gift.

"behold the charms that this club holds, dear Hime, for such beauties as thyself is what truly becomes the flower of our garden."

Kaosu blinked and turned to the blond boy. "Who talks like that nowadays?" Seriously, what modern person says 'thyself'. He was so... old-school. 'But his cosplay's really cool.' She decided in spite of her. "And my name's not 'hime', its Kaosu. Just call me that."

Mori chuckled and scratched his head while Honey clung to his arm and giggled.

"Volley ball team, huh Takeshi? She seems really fun!"

Mori nodded. "Yeah." And weird. Well, maybe the better term was unique.

This was for sure, the host club was getting more interesting with these new girls. And they liked it!
Kiku smiled back, though it was more a grimace. She was still worried.

But for a man? Why...it was ridiculous.

"Alright, but I'm right next door from the club, so knock on our door if you need help." She brought a hand out, as if she were going to pat his shoulder, but stopped herself and crossed her arms.

She'd be there anyway, for the bet. This was just another reason why the host club was evil. Her resolve was strong! They would disband after she won this bet with the blonde devil!

"Oh, looks like you're going to have a hard time winning this one over, Your Highness," Hikaru spoke up, scrutinizing Kaosu from a little distance away. He seemed to have forgotten about his cactus-spine wounds.

"She's obviously not the type to fall for your charms, Sir," Kaoru agreed. He no longer appeared to be in pain. "Why not give... Honey-chan a shot at her? That is, if you want her to become a regular."

"Well, Sir?" The twins spoke as one, strolling over to stand by Tamaki. "Do you think she would make a worthwhile regular?"

"You know, she might scare some of our current regulars away," Hikaru shrugged.

"She certainly is... more energetic than some of our regulars are used to, anyway," Kaoru added, shaking his head. "Lovely ladies?" He turned to Mika and Miharu. "What say you? Are you willing to take in this fledgling to the club activities with open arms?"

((The two NPC girls are up for anyone to play, really. They're both basically typical squealing girls from the anime\manga. And do the twins refer to Honey-chan with -chan or -sempai?))

The brown-haired Miharu looked over the new girl and pouted. "She's quite vulgar in my opinion, but if you two want her to stay here, then I have no objection!" She turned her eyes away from Kaosu and back to Hikaru and Kaoru, admiring them happily.

"Our newest arrival has chosen Mori-sempai." Kyoya stated as he walked over to the twins. Randomly chosen, but chosen none the less. "Let him sway her to become a regular. Unless you two want a chance at her." He was aware that Kaosu might bring some trouble to the club, but she was still a customer and a hopeful regular. Besides, Hunny-sempai and Mori-sempai already liked her.

"Yeah, it is!!" Kaosu exclaimed, turning back to the blond and tall one, "We should play some time! Anyways, what else do you do here?" She found it so cute that Hun-chan hanging off Mori-sempai that she didn't even notice other people talking about her.

"We sit and talk and eat cake!! Lots and lots of cake!" Honey reached out to take Kaosu's hand.

"Come sit with us! I wanna hear about your club..And Takeshi can tell us about Kendo...Oh! Have you seen the Karate club? My little brother Chika-chan is the Captain!!" Honey continued to chatter on and Mori stayed silent, his normal nuetral look on his face, although inside he was enjoying himself.
((sorry ish tiny. ._. and yes, they always call him sempai. ^_^))

At the second rejection Tamaki went back to his corner, mumbling incoherently....

"I thank you, but perhaps I should be returning." he nodded to the teacher and walked slowly out of the room. He still felt a little weak, but the need to fulfill his family's wishes was ingrained within him. He had a duty and he would serve it.

he walked through the halls to the music room standing before the door. He took a steadying breath and entered the room as quietly as he could.

"Oh great King, go entertain your other guests." Kyoya called out to him, noting in his notebook that Kaosu was someone to look after. 'Not like I need to make a note of that...' He thought when he turned to watch the green-haired newcomer.

Kaosu pouted when she sat down beside Hunny-senpai and Mori-senpai. "Talk and eat cake? Though I like cake, I think that's boring." She stated, "Isn't there anything else to do around here?" She was starting to second guess this club and how fun it really was...

That question brought Hikaru and Kaoru up short.

"What... what else IS there to do around here?" Kaoru whispered to his twin.

"Usually it's just Honey-senpai eating cakes and the rest of us catering to the girl's fantasies," Hikaru replied, brow furrowed.

Turning to Tamaki, they spoke up. "Sir, are you honestly sure that this girl is a fit regular for this club? With her demanding attitude, we'll be running up walls trying to amuse her!"

Rika knocked on the door for the third time. "What kind of club is this?" She muttered darkly to herself. "Their main goal is to make young ladies happy, but they can't even answer the door?."

knock. knock. BANG.

Surprised, she stared at her still-raised fist. Had she really just lost her temper over a door? Steady, girl.

However, it seemed to have worked. Finally, the door flew open.

BANG.

"Oh? Seems like we have an impatient customer, Kaoru. I'll get it."

"But--"

"Hmm? Kaoru, is something wrong?" Hikaru turned back to his brother, concern radiating from his eyes.

"N-nothing much, Hikaru," Kaoru murmured, not meeting his brother's eyes. "I just... don't want you to leave me for any longer than you have to..."

"Kaoru!" Hikaru swooped to his twin's side. "Why didn't you say so sooner? We can answer the door together. It will be just like the day we joined the Host Club--always together, right, Kaoru?"

"Hikaru..."

"EEEE!!!" Mika and Miharu squealed happily. "Such wonderful brotherly love! Together in everything, even opening the door!"

As one, the twins flung open the double-doors to Music Room Three. "Welcome!" They cried, their eyes alighting on the girl standing there with her fist half-raised. "We are so sorry to have kept you waiting. How can we make it up to you?"

They ushered the girl to a chair. Hikaru pulled it out for her, and Kaoru gestured gallantly for her to sit. "A first-timer, aren't you?" Kaoru asked, grinning at her. "We're getting more of those today than usual."

Kaosu heard a slam and spun away from her chocolate cake. Standing near the doorway were two auburn-haired twins and one familiar red-head. She stared at the red-head for a few moments until a lightbulb flashed on in her mind. "Rika!!!" She exclaimed as she jumped out of her chair. In a matter of seconds, the tinier girl had her arms wrapped around the newcomer. "I've missed you!!" She cried.

Kyoya watched the commotion with slight interest. He had heard the twins' comment about how the green-haired girl was going to be a problem, but he ignored them. The scene unfolding in front of him was all the reason why he was letting the eccentric girl stay. 'To bring in another customer...' He finished as he quickly jotted down some notes.

Rika looked down at the girl who was hugging her. "What are you talking about, Kaosu? You're the one who told me to meet you here after school. According to this..." The red-haired girl drew a cellphone from a pocket in her skirt and waved it at the green-haired girl.

"'Something interesting's up in Music Room 3, meet me there after school, love you, bye.'" After reading the text-message, Rika put her phone back in her pocket, disentangled Kaosu's arms from around her waist, and put her hands on her hips, surveying the room with a critical eye.

"So let me guess... This is the famous Ouran High School Host Club?"

She aimed a finger at the tall, blonde young man crouched in the far corner, which coincidentally seemed rather dimly lit. "And that must be the 'King', Tamaki."

Gazing around at the various attractive young men gathered in the room, she couldn't help shaking her head and letting a small smile cross her lips. "If you're going to have Kaosu be a regular... Then I pity you young men. I really do. She's really quite a handful, you know."

Rika turned to leave, tossing her red hair over her shoulder. "Well, good luck with keeping her occupied." She raised a hand in an airy wave. "I'll see you later, Kaosu. And next time, please don't waste my time with a text unless the subject actually promises to be amusing."

"But it's been so long!" Kaosu cried, "Why won't-?!" Before she could say anymore, someone interrupted her by standing in front of the red-head.

"So you don't believe our club to be amusing?" Kyoya asked as he stared the red-head down. Kaosu could not stay unless Rika stayed as well. This was the reason he allowed the green-haired girl to come in the first place.

Rika blinked as the young man wearing glasses impeded her exit from the room. Then her eyes narrowed and she glared right back up at him. Who did he think he was, stopping her from leaving?

"If it's amusing telling girls just whatever they want to hear, dressing up in frilly costumes to fulfill their hopeless fantasies and finding ways to compliment them even if they don't deserve so much as a look... Then no, I'm afraid I'll have to say that I find your club to be frightfully shallow and completely lacking in the entertainment department."

Kaoru raised a finger in the air, sudden realization striking him. "She's just like that green-haired girl!" He pointed unashamedly at Kaosu.

Hikaru looked between the two young women, nodding contemplatively. "You're right, Kaoru... They both only care about catering to their own amusements, yet nothing is ever good enough for them."

Rika instantly turned on them, her eyes flashing dangerously. "I'm so sorry," she said in a honey-sweet voice that quite contrasted her frightening appearance. "Did I hear you say something about me and Kaosu?" She began to play with a lock of her red hair, her eyes never leaving the twins. "Nothing is ever good enough for me, hmm? Maybe it's because nothing ever proves to be worth my time, especially not your pathetic excuse for an after-school club.

"Kaosu." She turned her attention to the green-haired girl. "You almost look like you've decided to become a regular here... What's made you stay? Normally something like this wouldn't be able to hold your attention for more than half a second."

Kaosu blinked when everyone turned to her. Who were these twins and how long were they here? She blinked again at her friend's question. "Well.... He's cute." Kaosu said as she pointed at Mori, "And I like cake. They have lots of it. I didn't know I was going to be a regular, I just got here. I haven't made a decision yet."

"Would you like to make a decision now?" Kyoya asked, his voice steady yet proper. On the inside, he was mentally twitching with annoyance. Pathetic? If there was one way to describe the Host Club he helped create, it was not 'pathetic'.

"Sure." Kaosu nodded. She turned around and walked towards the table where Mori and Hunny sat. She took a bite of her unfinished chocolate cake, then another. She chewed her food while walking back to the group near the door, swallowing once she reached them. "I don't wanna be a regular. There's nothing else to do." She said with a nod, "But you get two thumbs up for the cake."

This time, Kyoya twitched so that everybody could see. 'Crap.' He thought. This was not turning out the way he planned...

Kioshi opened the door again into the strange clubroom. he saw girls drifting in and out. Most excited, one even bored.

He tried to sneak in without catching anyone's attention. there were girls at different tables, and everything seemed like a wild west show. That's when he looked down and realized what he was wearing. He had forgotten that the twins had dressed him up. He poked at the shiny star badge saying sheriff.

Rika nodded, just barely managing to keep a smug smile from spreading over her face. "That's that, then. Neither Kaosu or I care about your club, and we're not coming back. Thank you, good day, that's all."

She turned to make a sweeping exit through the door--and stopped cold.

Was... that a TEACHER? What was he WEARING? Why was he dressed up like the students? Not that she would ever admit to caring, but...

Shooting surreptitious glances at the sheriff-ied teacher, she ended up making a less than dramatic exit from Music Room 3.

Kaosu followed her cold friend out the door while licking the last of the chocolate icing off her fingers. She was distracted when she gently bumped into Rika. "Wha?" She followed her friend's glance and blinked. Was that a teacher?! The green-haired girl couldn't help but laugh aloud. "Nice costume! Maybe I will come back for a good laugh!" She hollered before following Rika out the door.

"Damnit." Kyoya muttered again before turning to the rest of the Host club. In his eyes was a mixture of determination and rage. "We are getting those two back here." He ordered. For once in his entire career as the Vice President of the Host Club, he didn't care about the money or the sales boost of having Rika and Kaosu back as regulars. No, this was now personal.
