Pizza.. Chinese.. How could the man make him choose, he couldn't they were both so.. 'Just for tonight' He told himself, "Pizza." He said and smiled, the things he'll do just to sit here with him. Wait until Lily hears this. He waited for the other to finish ordering before he spoke up, "what do you want to do while we wait?"

Raidan shrugged. "Well, what the hell, let's compare music likes and find something to listen to. Name a favorite band," he said as he stood next to the couch. "I've got a ton of music in my room. Want to head upstairs?" Elliot was being invited into the other's room, being allowed to cross into Raidan's space for a while.

Elliot didn't hesitate and nodded, "Sure" he said and stood up, following the taller man into his bedroom.. his bedroom!! "I don't exactly have a favorite band, I just go off by songs I really like." He said wondering how his bedroom looked like.

The walls were lined in posters of various bands, everything from Three Days Grace, Black Veil Brides, Scissor Sisters and Disturbed to Celtic Women, Abney Park, and Nightwish. There was a dresser in one corner with a desk near it that housed an expensive computer. There were shelves with books that were as varied as the posters were. The bed was a nice king sized one, more than enough space for Raidan, the sheets were black and the quilt and pillow cases were a dark, deep sapphire. The shelves also housed DVDs and CDs. There was a fairly nice TV and such sitting on a glass and black metal table across from the foot of the bed. There were sketches scattered across the computer desk too. They were detailed sketches of the human form. Not sexual, just focused.

Elliot was amazed at the mans bedroom, he felt like his personality was all over the place. Unlike his own room, it was plain and empty, most of the things he liked hidden. When he noticed the three days grace poster he smiled, "I listen to three days grace a lot." he said, "they are one of the bands that I like more than 10 songs off of. I usually don't go by bands, I got by songs, it makes me sound unorganized" he said, he didn't let his eyes wonder to much, and didn't walk around freely either. He kept at an acceptable distance from the other. "Nice room. Mine looks like a hospital room compared to this."

"If you're ever in a hospital then you'll sleep just fine, won't you?" Raidan asked in a light tone. "You should hear some of the songs I have. If you're open to some odd songs, then you might like Herr Drosselmeyer's Doll or Virus by Abney Park. I listen to things that aren't in English either. Celtic, Swedish, Spanish, Japanese," he said as he studied his CDs. "I go for whatever has a beat I like. I've got a bit of everything really except for things like rap. Pick whatever catches your eye and put it in the player." He was cleaning up the papers on his desk to stack them on a corner of it.

"ugh, I guess." he said not exactly understand the question but he let it pass. He chuckled, "trust me I like odd. I mostly listen to rock, and just like you, I don't like rap. I don't give a crap if it's 'poems' it's complete bullshit and every song Practically says the same thing." he said as he looked over the mans CDs, picking one out just like he had asked, 'scissor sisters' he never heard of them, but he definitely wants to give this a listen to. "I picked out scissor sisters."

"The song 'I Can't Decide' is great, you'll laugh," Raidan said as he stretched out on his bed. "Feel free to sit anywhere," he said. Elliot had a choice of the desk chair, another comfortable looking chair in one corner, or the bed with Raidan. Which would put them close together but not too close to be uncomfortable. Raidan was listening for the doorbell so he could go pay for the pizza when it arrived. "You're pretty quiet," Raidan said. "At school and here I've noticed."

(I gotta run for the night, I get home late tomorrow night, tomorrow I have classes most of the day. I hope you're having fun with this, I am. Later!)

"Alright, I'll listen to that one first." he said, and looked up from the cover, wondering if he should sit on the bed, but in the end he sat down at the corner chair, and like usual, brought his knees up to his chest. He brought his eyes to the man once he spoke, so he had noticed him before? He was pretty sure he didn't know he even exist, their eyes never even met in school. "I-I'm sorry, I'm not much of a talker.. Well, I am once I get to know you better, and get along with you also." he said holding the cd case with both his hands.

Raidan shrugged. "No need to be sorry, it's just an observation. You hang out with that girl that talks non-stop, right? I'm not surprised you don't talk; you can't when she's around. Is she your girlfriend or just a friend?" It was an idle question. Just an excuse for conversation. Raidan was proud of himself for even keeping it up this long. Elliot was a bit shy but the guy did not seem so bad.

Elliot had laughed softly when the other said that he couldn't talk around her before he shook his head at the following question, "no. She's not my girlfriend" he answered, he was used to the question so it didn't startle him too much. "Shes been my friend since middle school." and his only friend at that.

Raidan gave a shrug. "She's cute. Bit too perky and short for my tastes though." Lily would be crushed by that; her little fantasy bubble would pop and she would all the more demand that Elliot fulfill her fantasies for her and make-out with Raidan in her place. When the doorbell rang, Raidan got up and headed downstairs to pay for the pizza. He brought the box upstairs to his room and set it on the desk. He did not care if they ate in his room without plates or whatever else. He was feel mellow and relaxed, even with Elliot in his space.

//Yay~ You're back <3 Well, tell me what time is it there now?

Elliot nodded awkwardly, pressing his lips together in thought. Yeah, he will most definitely not tell this to Lily, he knew how dramatic she was. And he knew, he just knew she would keep bugging him about 'getting it on' with Raidan- Which of course he isn't going to do. He only wants to get along with him, that's as far as he will go. Suddenly he realized that Raidan had been gone, and had just returned with pizza. He gulped growing nervous, wondering if he could really go threw with this. Just one.. just for today. He stood up, and grabbed himself a slice. Reluctantly biting into it. He appeared as if nothing, but this was killing him inside a bit. He'll have to work this off tomorrow. "Oh- um by the way, I'm staying home tomorrow as well."

(10 PM)

"Same," Raidan said. "I might not go to school all week. My grades are perfect anyway and I won't be missing much. If mom or Victor ask, we both caught a cold." He knew his mom would believe him; he rarely missed school for anything except colds or medical emergencies. He slouched into a chair and focused on eating pizza. He could eat the entire pizza by himself and never gain an ounce with the way he would swim the next day. Maybe even that night. Night swimming was something he enjoyed but before now rarely had a chance to do.

//Ah okay. Same here.

"Oh, dad wont ask. I've skipped school a couple of times and he wont get the slightest idea. My grades are good too, above average actually- Damn, I'm so tempted to take the whole week off.. maybe I just will." He said, taking his second bite, making sure he chewed it well before he swallowed, and continued to eat slowly. "Are you swimming tomorrow morning?" He asked, " I'd like to know ahead of time, I want to swim myself- thats why I want to know. That way I'll know to keep myself busy while I wait."

"I could just about live in the pool," Raidan said. "They don't call me Poseidon for nothing. Just join me, I don't care if you're out there. If you're all shy, I'll wear a swim suit." He was teasing the other but he meant it; if the other wanted him to be wearing something then he could. It would not bother him. Swimming naked was just fun for him, it was no need to show off or anything.

"Y-Yeah I'll appreciate you wearing something. But, I wouldn't want to get in your way." he said, "It's better off if we just take turns." He suggested. He can't picture himself swimming with the other, he would feel as if the other is judging him the entire time. He rather not- he rather be along and take it to his own pace.

"Suit yourself," Raidan said. That would limit the other's swim time a lot; Raidan liked the water and little could make him avoid it on purpose. After about five slices of pizza Raidan stretched and relocated to his bed to stretch out on it once more. Between the music and the generally quiet atmosphere between the two of them he dozed off within a few minutes. Elliot was welcome to stay or go since Raidan had not told him to vacate the room.

"You can have the whole morning to afternoon, just let me know when your out, I don't want to limit your time either.. if you want I can just find something else to do.." He had said, he really didn't want to displease the other in any way. Elliot was glad the other had gone to be and doze off, he doesn't know how he did it, but he only ate half of his pizza. Glad he didn't have to eat the entire thing. He placed his slice back into the box and closed it. He took down the leftovers to the kitchen and then went off to his bedroom. Too tired to get online and call lily, so he just went to bed freely and dozed off as well until the following morning.

Raidan made breakfast for himself before running to the pool, this time wearing a swim suit of black shorts. With strong, sure strokes, he cut through the water back and forth, enjoying the cool of the water. He was not sure how long he was out there doing that, nor did he time himself. Once he was done he ended up on one of the lounge chairs, relaxing, letting his mind drift and wondering what his new step-brother was up to now.

Elliot had skipped breakfast, and instead began to read the novel Lily had gotten him. He knew Raidan would be out in the pool for a while, so he read as much as he could, laying around his bed as he did so. Eventually, he looked out his window, seeing the pool free, but he didn't see Raidan on one of the Lounge chairs. He quickly changed into a swimming shorts, and added a plain white t, he didn't enjoy walking around bare chested, it made him easily cold. He had gone down the stairs quickly, and out into the yard, straight to the pool. He smiled and sat down on the edge of the pool, sticking his feet in, still not realizing the others presence.

Raidan had a momentary temptation to say something to get Elliot's attention. But instead he closed his mouth and remained perfectly still so that he had the chance to study his new sibling. It was a habit Raidan had; studying people when they did not realize he was doing so. He was not looking just at the physical outside of people, but paying attention to gestures and movements that might give away something more of who the person was. At the moment, Elliot was looking pretty calm and innocent to him.

Elliot enjoyed sitting there for a moment, swinging his feet in the water. After a while, without removing his shirt, he got himself in. He stood for a moment, letting his body adjust to the waters temperature. Eventual, he began to swim, making it to the other side of the pool and then back. once he raised from under the water, his eyes landed on the other making his heart sink. How long has he been watching him? "..I didn't see you come in." He said holding onto the edge of the pool, resting his chin on his arm.

"I've been sitting here the whole time," Raidan replied. "You just didn't notice and I didn't see any reason to alert you." His tone was mild and his expression empty of anything that might tell Elliot anything of use. "You really are shy. Which is weird for a guy. Why are you wearing a t-shirt to swim? Do you burn?"

Elliot felt a bit like an Idiot, he was there the whole time and he didn't notice. "No I don't burn" He answered wondering how he should respond to the question. "I just feel weird with it off, plus I get more cold." he answered, being honest. He knew he shouldn't let himself get distracted, and that he had to get this done, whether the other stayed sitting there or not. "I'm going swim now." He announced before he turned around and began his laps again.
