I'm not good with kidnapping oriented plots; but, I know one thing for certain, is that I don't like it when people get kidnapped over money—it's overdone, me thinks.

So, my bright idea is that the kidnapper is a disturbed individual that was subjected to cruelty throughout his\her life, and the only person who showed them kindness became something of an idol to them... of course, they could not have the person they so desperately desired—they could have moved, or died, or whatever; but, the point is that their relationship doesn’t end badly. Anyways, the kidnapper—in their never-ending quest to reunite the person—locates and snatches up people who look like their lost idol and whenever they reject him, or if they don’t shape up and enjoy his company, he disposes of them, albeit hesitantly and with a lot of violence, and moves onto the next person. He wants to marry and consummate his affections to the kidnapped, because he could never do so with his idol.

The kidnapped can have whatever back story they want, but once their appearance is chosen, it is THE look that the kidnapper goes for—in fact, the kidnapped looks the most like the person the kidnapper loved and lost, ad because of that, they receive special treatment and unlike the rest, the kidnapper allows them outside of the holding cell and into the rest of his house, which I might say, would be an opulent, old-timey manor that he inherited some off year ago.

What do you think? I’m in the mood for a kind of Goth thing with dark humor.

I'm not sure I would be into this sort of plot line. For me it is very hard to get into the kidnapping sort of role-play since a lot of the time people have dropped the kidnapping role-plays I was in so I grew out of doing them. I don't think kidnapping people for money is over done. Though that is my opinion.

We can always add a twist to it to make it more interesting?
I mean, I'm totally into the idea--I'll even make a sailor promise not to bail out on it--but, that's because, I've been reading a lot of weird literature.

I just don't think the plot line is something I want to do though. ^^;

well I want to do something with drama in it. It doesn't have to be fantasy though. For me I kind of have odd taste. XD

:) I'm up for drama, too. I'm just not sure what else to suggest... How's about a Role Play with a criminal blackmailing a detective to keep out of jail?

Well I have some drama ideas I think. I haven't checked it lately since I thought I was going to close it shortly before you posted. You seem to have much more unique taste then I do.

I like to challenge the 'norm' and make the characters go on wild adventures. :P I usually don't role play the strange ideas I come up with, though. Nobody is ever up for them.

Well I am not really sure what Ideas I have since I don't know what I would want to do. I've waited too long to role-play and now I have no idea what I want to do. XD Why not we list some of the things we like to play an come up with an idea together?
