Welcome
an avatar contest
Hello. My name is Sweet_serender159 but please feel free to call me Sweets or even Sophie. In short I like avi contests but never felt the confidence to actually enter myself purly because I don't think I have the skilliage to enter those that others are so good in!
So I felt that instead of making them I might host a contest so others may sharpen their skills a bit for the real tests XD

{ o4 } Please upload your image to a site such as Tinypic or Imageshack If I can't see your image your in trouble and don't count.
{ o5 } When a contest is won, the winner of that contest may not enter in the next, however, they are not banned from the thread and may participate in the contest after. (If A enters in contest one and wins it, they may not enter in contest two, but they can enter in contest three.) But the previous winner may send in a 'sample avi' if you will, of the theme they cannot enter!

This weeks contest theme(s) is "Skittles"
Welcome again to another week here an Masks :)
Sweets loves sweets. It's pretty much written into her DNA, so as she was sitting there thinking up the next theme she thought to herself, "What do I love?" and as usual, the first thing that popped into her head were Skittles.
Now this can be taken any way at all. it can be the mere colouring of your avi, or a little joke or story behind these sweet little lollies but the avi must somehow show Skittles in one of it's many forms.

rozzie's choice
starting the 20th of Febuary we will be having a new feature here on Masks.
A special thing we like to call Rozzie's Choice, where our much loved Rozalyne will choose one very special avatar from every theme to win a consolation prize of 100 gold just for being awsome :D
To be able to win this new little thing you must have competed at least 3 times before since this thread has started and it is only open for people who do not win the main Contest. What will happen is once the main Contest's week is over and the voting period has ended and the winner has been announced there will be a 2 day period for Rozalyne to choose her favourite avatar from that theme and the winner will be shown in here and they will also recieve 100g :)

1. HOW does someone win? Your personal choice, voting?
yes. sorry but yes it is my own personal choice but I may in the future be having guest judges such as the previous winner from the week before and maybe those that wish to.
I now have a new voting system system in place :)
the contest will run for 1 week or say 5 days, 1st of January-5th of January, and than there will be two days for you to PM me who you vote for :) 6th of Jan-7th of Jan.
2. - with references to week one contest - Are face veils counted as items?
I don't see why not XD they do hide the face... even if it is only a little.
3. - With reference to week two contest - Are cloaks considered real items?
as said, I dont see why they should be.. they dont actually cover the avvi, they are more a back item :)
