Hi, I'm Maria
I've been wanting to make an avitar by layering items for a while now but never got around to starting one because I spent all my gold on EIs and CIs before I could get commons. :lol: But now I have refrained myself from spending all my gold and I'm looking for a little help on creating my first layered outfit in the hopes that I can get the hang of it and make a bunch by myself. :) Submit as many outfits as you'd like because I'm unsure of how long it'll take me to catch on to things.
I would like for the outfit to be colorful but it doesn't have to be if it's better with limited or no color. :yes:

COLORS
Some colors I like together {but don't have to be used} are:
Pink, black and white
Gold and purple
Pink/Fondant and yellow
Purple, blue and green
also light/lavender purple, electric/sky/light blue,lime/floral/mint/light green
you don't have to use these colors together or at all and you can mix and match

If you make me an outfit it can be complete or incomplete because I'd possibly change a couple things to make it my own unless I really like it the way it is.

If you come up with an idea please post the picture of the outfit, name of all the items used, where to get the item and the price.

If you have some (or all) of the items used on the created outfit and are looking to get rid of them I may be open to buying the item(s) depending on price and how well I like the outfit.

you just want a well layered outfit? no theme ideas and you want it to be colourful? alright ill take this on but really you should take some advice from the outfits that get nomed in user picks or the winners of user picks and admin picks. they vary greatly and most of the time show amazing layering and themes.

I've looked at a few outfits from the user's and admin's picks and I found some cool ideas but I'm still a little lost what with all the commons mene has and I don't have the dream avitar creator or anything like that :lol:

I really like the outfit you made! I especially like the wrap skirt and organza hairpin. I'll put some colors that I like together in the first post but those aren't the colors that have to be used.
I'm going to put this outfit in my quest thread with credit to you as one possible idea and quest these commons ;)

sure i will do another as well with the lavender, green and blue colour combo. i love purple and green myself so this will be fun. i may add black or white or gold or all three for balancing reasons but i may not depending on item use.

I really really really like #2!! I love how you made all the colors come together! I'm putting that in my quest thread to get the stuff I don't have for that outfit. I'm also making a note of #3 so I can remember everything for that one.
