SO sorry for the delay, I live on the east coast and we just had an earthquake! It started in Virginia and went all the way to New York. It was really freaky! I have never experienced one before today. o.O
Amelia: - I just made a thread about it in the General Discussion because I want to hear more about what other people experienced. We live near a quarry and they blast all the time so at first I thought it was that but then I realized there was no noise like there usually is and the rumble wasn't stopping. It usually only lasts like 2 seconds but this was like 10 seconds or longer.
crunky: I'm supposed to be having work done on my house soon, so I thought that was what it was from. It lasted like 30 seconds to a minute, when I finally got up and realized no one was working.
My mom was like "I thought there was a ghost messing with me at first." xD First time I've ever felt anything like that.
Amelia: - wow, that's crazy, did anything fall? We didn't have anything fall but I was getting nervous and thinking about going outside if it didn't calm down.
crunky: He wont leave me alone now, he's never felt anything like that before <3
He's bad enough with thunderstorms, let alone the whole house shaking!
crunky: I think he's getting over it. I hope your cat slept through it. <3
I'm still so shocked, of all the natural disasters I thought I could face living her, earthquake was definitely near the bottom of things. xD

I just spoke to a friend on mine, he said one of the trees outside his house actually fell over!
Amelia: - exactly, I think the scariest part is there is really nothing that you can do. You just have to wait. Sometimes, there is no where to hide because in a really bad one, stuff could fall on you no matter where you go.
The tree didn't hit anything did it? That's pretty severe to make trees fall over. o.O
Amelia: - if something fell on my house, I would probably start screaming honestly. It would be too much to accept reality. Especially with no warning like an earthquake. It's not like a storm where there is always the possibility.
crunky: Strangely enough like two or three weeks ago I had a tree in my front yard fall. It hit the house, but only the corner really so the damage wasn't too bad. Just scary to think a few feet to the right and it would have been smack dead center of my room.
