And if it really bothers people because they don't know what year somthing is in you can always copy and paste a list on a word document. Then you can make it how ever you want.
That's what I did. If I don't want to look around I just open up my document and there it is.

I did the same thing Lilith. I organized it all how it was with the old price guide and printed it out

yep, and then you just have to add the new items which is a lot easier when you don't have to worry about coding

What if there were a thread that just listed all of the items and showed coding that exchangers could copy and paste to use in their stores?

Honestly, I think if people want to put images with their stuff. They can just do it from their inventories or from the guide. I would not see a reason that is worth going through the amount of time it would take to create a list like that with coding so sellers and questers could do it easier.

There are alot of great requests I have seen from people. Try to image though that it creates more work for the staff to do that to adhear to laziness of people. When they could just easily do it themselves.

And Kimi, the Empress Arch is supposed to be at 200g, but I've seen people sell it for around 300g to 450g if I'm not mistaken. Prices for the Valentines' Day 2010 EI set are still very unstable, you see. :x

It was easy enough for me to right click and "copy image location" and add it to my quest thread.
Though a lot of newbies may not be familiar with image tags etc.

But that is also assuming that everytime someone sells an item it is in a set. Like right now I am selling Dove Ankle Wings and Weather Forecast. If I wanted the image I could copy this source, but I would still have to edit out the other image and put in the name.

Yes, it would be a one time effort. How much effort does it really take to actually [right click, properties, click image link, right click, select all, right click, copy, type in [img]control+v or shift+insert or right click, paste[/img] - [item name] - item price.]

Or if you are high speed. Right click, properties, click image link, ctrl+a,ctrl+c, tabtabtabenter (to cancel depending on browser and additions you have added to it), then type in [img]ctrl+v[/img] - [price]

Yeah, but if you remember when you first started on your first forum site, you didnt remember either. I know I didn't. By doing everything for everyone, no one will learn. Because people don't know how to do things means it has to be catered to and everything be made to make everything simpler? I don't mind answering questions on how to do things when people have them. Its not like it is an every second thing. There are just so many things that can come from making a single catering thread.

Lets say that a thread similar to the one cami described gets put out. Then you will have people who want one for how to set up exchange threads. Then maybe how to set up banners. Maybe a guide on how to use the profile customize feature. I mean it is little things like these people have questions on alot of the time. Sure, a guide would be nice, but as more updates and upgrades come out to the site. It won't be a one-time task. It will have to be updated right away to go along with the upgrades. If a guide is made on how to customize the profiles, then some coding gets started (and finished) and now you can do extreme-customizable profiles, such as the ones on gaia. Now, the staff's 'one time job' just got changed and now the guide has to be completely redone right away. If it isn't done right away people will bitch and whine.

My point is there is never a one time update for things. Cause a series of things can happen and change things which will result in a complete update of these 'guides' and 'helpful threads.'

Your best bet is to make an exchange thread, if you don't already have one, and post up that you are looking for Yumeh Ears and Tail. They run, last I checked, around 6-7k. Though it could have changed. Try looking in the price guide under Event Items 2007, under the Halloween section.
Also, please note that you are only allowed one exchange thread. So, feel free to set it up how you like.
