Sorry about the extended absence - I'm currently out of town at my mother/grandmother's place because Spawn had a check up with his specialist at the children's hospital. I meant to make an announcement about it before I left home yesterday but I spaced it in the hurry to pack and leave on time. I should be home by early afternoon tomorrow but I'll be making a few posts while I can on my grandmother's desktop.

Yes! Geez, life caught up to me.

We don't have to change his prescriptions and his blood work is checking out just fine. I got caught up helping out with a lunch that my local SCA group was serving for another group's event and trying to get all my sewing done. Unfortunately, my SCA group is holding a demo this Saturday, the 27th, and my time on Menewsha may be sporadic.

I need to make a disclaimer for that and put it on the first page of the thread. And my profile. :sweat:

I know the feeling Scribbled. My drawing class among other things is occupying a lot of my spare time. All I can say is working in charcoal is definitely evil. I've been taking precautionary measures so as not to have charcoal dust all over the walls and carpet. xD And I'm supposed to be on Spring Break.

Aw, thanks for stopping by, everyone, and checking up on me.

I've had to help a friend move back home from the other side of the country, there's been a seemingly endless line of family members visiting because of the holidays and I've been trying to track down all the paperwork I need to get my financial aid straightened out for classes this summer.

I think I finally have a reliable schedule for the next couple of weeks. I really should put a disclaimer on my thread/profile that I'm a sporadic person at best.

Sporadic would be putting it nicely. I can't remember the last time I was on Menewsha, although I don't spend nearly as much time at this desk as you seem to, Scribbled. Not even for my homework. ^^;

Have you won all the fights in a single set yet, CZ, in Battle Punks? Cali made a leap for Spawn's swing and landed in it but got booted out by the swinging motion from the momentum of her leap. :XD Sadly I didn't have my phone to catch a picture of her in it.

They're having a bake sale at mom's work to raise money for the children's hospital and mom's in a baking fit. I just pulled brownies from the oven that I'm not allowed to eat.

What's half a pan of missing brownies? If you're going to be baking, you may as well be able to eat at least some of it.

Mom mixed up the batter herself. All I did was take 'em out of the oven.
