The granite is done and now we're disagreeing on our backsplash.
We're going to put in a row of glass tiles in the middle of the backsplash, and we can't agree on which tiles they should be.

We've brought about 25 different samples in, but we can't find the exact right one.

So tomorrow I'm going to go to the mall and look at purses.
Something totally different...

That's a lot of tiles.

We did have a break earlier this week...we went to Houston for a bit, but we didn't stay long.

Then we came right back home to the kitchen.
Now we're starting to think about our racing trip in April.

I think that the backsplash isn't going to get done until we get back from that trip.

yeah. not sure when the funeral will be yet, but my parents already went up this morning. me and my bros will go tomorrow evening.

Funeral planning actually goes surprisingly quick so probably monday.

I have far too much experience with funerals lately.

that's what my mom said, but my dad said later. oh well. I'm hoping monday or tuesday.

We're going to Texas Motor Speedway for the Nascar races.
It's up in Forth Worth.

Hubby's sister is flying into Dallas from Seattle, so we'll get the RV set up, then on Friday pick her up from the airport.

We own 4 seats, so generally we have some family come flying in to join us for the races...

hm, races. fun.

I guess I'm leaving for temple here real soon, so I won't talk to ya'll much for a few days. the internet there is real shoddy and if my dad wants to get work done, he won't let other people use the internet for run. rather, I think I'll finish my homework and then work on my fic.
