i'm already drinking an orange vitamin c-ish herbal tea and bought lozenges, and throat spray (vile stuff!) and what turned out to be a homeopathic nasal spray (not sure what homeopathic is exactly... it was an accident)

I think taking vitamins and orange juice would help, but I don't know how to stop a cold.

my mom wants to go on a day trip to a hot spring/natural pool thing tomorrow and i woke up this morning feeling like i woke up after losing a fight badly. so i'm trying to kill this quickly. i don't want to ruin the one time my mom finally gets to go on a trip with me and my sister.

hm, hopefully its a very quick little cold that doesn't make you feel like crap for long. a hot springs vacation sounds like something you wouldn't want to miss.

i think it would be really nice :) and it's likely the only thing i'll get to do with my mom this summer, so i really don't want to miss out

You could also go get that little throat spray thing I use. It's like a mild antiobiotic for cold that you don't need a prescoption for. It's call zia(something). I can't remember the last half of the word

i just have a generic walgreens throat spray with phenol in it. it's time to spay again >_< ugh

the feeling weird is the point. it's like a half-assed numbing feeling. though this spray does seem to knock out the pain pretty quickly. it just burns when it first hits the sore spot.
