I went to Catholic school, purple and pink was for advent. I remember purple for lent too, but can't remember if there was a second color. We had to memorize the colors in the church calender. Green-> ordinary time, red->feast days(martyrs), white easter, xmas, etc. :3

I don't remember green being one of our colors but the purple, pink and white I do. Maybe green was used for normal times and I just didn't pay much attention.

Green was for regular time. ^o^

oh yeah, we would normally wear green cords as altar servers. I totally forgot about that. >.< I hated when I had to remember what color to wear. >.> that and there was no pink cord so we wore purple the whole time. WTF why was there NO PINK! D:

I made something yummy! I cut up these two rum flavored loaf cakes into real small pieces and ran them in the oven with a little butter. I layered them in a dish with caramel sauce, and I made vanilla pudding with a few extras and layered that as well. P:

snow- I know! But we had no pink cords. so while everyone else in the procession was wearing pink we had on purple cords to tie our albs. It was kinda funny. ^^;;
