Everyone is talking about the movie now. I want to see it!

zeap mentioned it the other night. it was very good, like way better than i thought and that right level of cheesy, like doctor who cheesy but not as bad lol there was one part i thought was rather distasteful and made it seem a bit of a bash against women but other than that, i give it two thumbs up!

Pretty much since the first commercial I saw about it, I've been wanting to see it.

ugh. Kat we both need to see it. I want to see it!

Also, I'm glad you liked it Linn! Was the scene you disliked the one at the very end, out of curiosity? If it was, pretty much everyone I know who watched it thought it was unnecessary as well. Aside from that, though, I thought it was really good at having a nice balance of female characters and handled them pretty well. Roxy and Gazelle are both so cool!!

I'm not familiar with the group, Wings, but that is a pretty cool routine and the singing is really nice too!

That's VIXX. They are absolutely my favorite kpop group. They just, to me, tend to be better than the other groups.

yes at the end, zeap with princess tilde. and yes, i thought gazelle was a rather interesting villain and very fierce. a good villain. samuel l jackson with a lisp was hilarious and makes it hard to take his character serious, but that's what you're supposed to think. his reaction just further hits that home lol

Linn: Yeah, I thought it would be that scene. What I really want to know is more of Gazelle's backstory, like how did she and Valentine end up working together? And she is very fierce, I love it!
I also must admit that there is certainly something very appealing about Colin Firth kicking butt and generally being a badass. I love me a gentleman spy.

I didn't get around to finishing it the other day so I'm watching it now and I just got up to the fireworks bit, and oh my goodness this movie is so ridiculous I love it.

or like how she lost her legs and learned to fight the way she does. it's almost a shame in regards to her fate.

the fireworks part is totally overboard hahaha

Linn: Yeah, Gazelle's character just seems like such an interesting aspect of the film that they didn't explore anywhere near enough.
And yeah, when I watched with my family we all absolutely lost it at the fireworks hahaha!

they should make her own story!

By the way, today I leave to go see my grandparents and so I won't have any internet until the 4th of January, and so just letting you all know that in about 2 hours I'm probs going to head off for the rest of the event.

OMG That movie was crazy and I love it. XD Can't believe how explicit it is and yet silly.

yea it was much more silly, and explicit, than i thought it was going to be.

i didn't realize that that movie was based on a comic book series. pretty neat and might be worth checking out
