hahaha well that's kinda like cruises. yeah you visit the places, but you're really only visiting the ports.
though i mean in alaskan cruises the ports, it's really easy to visit the entire city if you're willing to walk. not so much in mexico
lol yeah. i mean i can drive to LA in like four hours, but that's the closest way to leave texas for me.
it's like 8 or more hours to drive to mexico. and anywhere else to leave the state is longer or about the same.

Really?! LA ROADTRIP! (There's a proper trip for yah!)
I've still never gone on a cruise. I feel like I might get bored on one. But then again, they try their darnest so you don't get bored, no?

Lol yeah I mean La as in the state not the city. I wish it was a four hour trip to the city.
yeah it's kinda hard to be bored on cruises. they're a ton of fun. and they do try and make a little of something for everyone.
like my family always does the trivia.
and i mean if you do get bored, you can always go find food somewhere. so much eating.

Oooh, still fun though. Beignets and crawfish. But, not on the same plate.
I guess I'd consider a cruise if it went to some destinations I was interested in. I love exploring, that's why I was afraid I'd be bored.
But, a lot of inclusive resorts have the freedom to get out of the resort. I explored all over Barbados when I stayed at a resort there....but the resort also offered amazing things and activities. So, if you're not me, you can just stay there the whole time. You're going to Jamaica, right Linny?
Also, that Texas map is crazy. I need to look up the Alaska one they mentioned.

yes definitely not on the same plate those two would mix.
yeah. the ports are important. my mom can't stand mexican cruises but loves going to alaska.
me i like the ship aspect of it so much that I don't care much where we go. though i would go to alaska again in a heartbeat. so beautiful.
i haven't seen that map.

I've taken a road trip from Indianapolis to San Antonio to visit my brother. O: Very long. We had to stay at a hotel for one night and then drove the rest of the way the next day. And then we also took a road trip from San Antonio to Corpus Cristi while we were there. The scenery was nice~ I've also been to Austin in July for a week and walked around the city. Very interesting city. X3
I've never been on a cruise or been to a resort. o 3o

Corpus Cristi is one of the nicer beaches and interesting places to be.
Also, I like the avi, Kent.

I'd loooove to go to Alaska.
I've never been down to the south west. I'd be interested to go to New Mexico or Arizona for sure. I think the closest I've been was California (doesn't count...it was central and northern Cali) and Colorado.

I like the south west and I also like Cali. I think most places have something interesting to see (though some more than others).
I've been to Corpus lots. I actually have family that lives just outside it. In there boat. But I think they just got a house for the first time in ever.

yeah just NYC Woody. We went after I graduated high school. Did all the touristy stuff: saw a Broadway play, statue of liberty, empire state building, the like.
San Antonio is pretty awesome. There's the river walk, the alamo, and tons of small outlying tons with cool stuff to offer like wineries or peach farms.
yikes! we think it sleeted here last night.

You know, I've never been to the Statue of Liberty...I did go up the Empire State Building eventually... I do love going into the city. I avoid Times Square like the plague though. So crowded! Last time I was there I got dim sum in Chinatown, walked over to see the new World Trade Center Tower and the memorial there, then my friends and I played around in different comic stores since it was free comic day. Just yesterday I was across the river from Manhattan with one killer view of it.
What play did you see?
I've seen pictures of the river walk and the canals. It looks so pretty! I hear it's a cool foodie city too.

hahah. we didn't go in it but we did go to the island and walk up to it. very cool.
I definitely would love to visit again. Do more. Have more time. Visit upstate new york too.
Wicked! It was amazing!
yeah it's really pretty and very cool. me and a couple of my friends went down there recently and had some really, really good steak on the river walk.
and if you're ever in san antonio you have to try migas (and I saw this as someone whose not particularly fond of migas)
