The search bar for the forums is almost useless to me- I never can properly filter through old posts. So I apologize if I sound like a broken record.

How does the layering work with items? In my case, the question is in regards to lefthand learning and righthand reading. I'd like to buy and equip both but I'm not sure if that's possible. I'd like to know before I buy them both and waste my money.

In the case of the Lefthand Learning and Righthand Reading- yes they can both be equipped at the same time. :)

You'll find that unless its in the exact same spot, things on mene will most likely be on their own layer.

Mind you there are exceptions to this rule, but mene loves layers and the staff have over the years obliged to this layer frenzy.

Yeah. I can't think of any items, offhand, that are in different places but use the same layer. We do put some items on pretty random layers. But that is usually because it's in the right kind of place, and if you wanted that item equiped, you wouldn't be able to see the item(s) the layer was intended for.

The moon from diana's grace and the sun from weather forecast are in different upper corners but we can't have both equipped at the same time which I think it'd be cool to make a sun/moon avi :D

Or the gems, the dark and blood gems, are on the headband layer.

there are exceptions to the rule of course. But most of them sort of make sense.
