happy belated new year!
oooh, must be tough finishing up school work and having to teach your 1st-6th graders at the same time. i remembered when i used to do that, too... i wasn't very cheerful lolol. now it's a little different since i just concentrate on my work. no more school. i'm glad you seem to enjoy your work X3 is this what you'd like to do for your future?

im sure you will figure something out. but it is worth it to volunteer. i wish i volunteered smarter... if i did i might have a job in my field. oh well... move on right?
i think ill get this job and i know i will be good at it. im worried that its not going to be good for me... but you gotta do what you gotta do right?

i suppose. im not sure about you area either. but the bast way to get into a place is to volunteer there first. do an internship of sorts.
its an independent furniture store. and its failing miserably. but im going to get another job. i was talking to my friends, they work at the place i have an interview with and they say that the chances of me getting this job are pretty high and they both think i will really fit in and enjoy it. i think its a step in a better direction for sure.

start volunteering in a place you want to get a job. find a place that you can work in and volunteer there is more likely what i should say. but do it while your in school. its going to be the most likely way to get a job because you will have valuable experience in the field and that it important. and if you volunteer with a company that may hire you, then you are one foot in the door right?
yeah i made the job. i walked in and told him how he needed to hire me and he did. the issues are that the store is not selling enough to pay for itself. its a sinking ship and im just extra weight. no matter how valuable i may be, its just extra weight. so my hours this week were 8. thats it. just one 8 hour shift. i cant live off that. if next week doesnt provide me with more im not going o be able to eat this month. so i need a new job.
on the bright side, i have an interview next week! so yay!

college works out better then university as far as i know. at least in ontario it does. and aprentiships are still worth it. but university just plain isnt. i mean whats the point in going to university, getting $60,000 in debt only to get part time minimum wadge not in your field work? its very frustrating.
sorry... im a little touchy on the subject and im kinda really stressed right now. i actually made the job i have right now and the only major flaw in it is that the business is failing. i like my job and i dont want to have all these issues with it.
getting a new job sucks. stick to your old one if you can and if you like it. dont quit until you have a new job.
